Do we agree on everything?
Just a perfect storm, IMO. Hotshot coach, at an awesome school, with tons of in state talent, with 300 seniors leaving, with a special kid at QB who has worked his arse off helping recruit.
Also, LSU, Tenn, MSU, Ole Miss, UF, aTm all have either shite coaches, new coaches, or just suck.
I don't think Kirby is out there buying kids houses and shite.

Ed Zackery..........congrats to Kirby and his staff. The last time they won a NC John Travolta was wearing that white suit. I still have mine.

Let’s drop it after this.. but most coaches don’t have a choice about the boosters. Alabama is rare.. Saban holds the chips. Most schools it’s not like that.. if you think Kirby has the pull on booster or ability to control them like Saban then you don’t realize what it took to get Saban hired. You clearly didn’t know how powerful the REC really was..that’s why I enjoy and respect Saban so much. A good expample is I honestly think Freeze had no choice.. play along or be gone. It’s like this at most colleges.

I don't necessarily blame the coaching staff on not getting Brown. He always seemed like he (his mom) wanted to stay close to home.

Let's hope he wasn't the only one. Traveling can be perilous.
Hopefully, Alabama isn't recruiting any defensive linemen out of Central High School next year. I hear Hackberry poses significant traveling problems.

Next off season. His ban is until 2019.
Dunbar is an excellent coach, but Davis is also very good and a better recruiter.
Crazy to think that just over a year ago he was a truck driver trying to make ends meet. All over a stupid infraction that would have been no big deal if he had just not lied about it.
That also tells us some thing about Saban having zero tolerance for recruiting bullshite (Davis feeling it necessary to lie), which certainly is relieving.

Correct Brown was aTm commit and they fired Sumlin. He didn't have a s good a relationship with the new staff but they had time to develop it. Hate losing him but this sky is falling from some over Brown needs to stop.

I think Langham grows into a DT. Something like a better Quinton Dial. Kid can add a lot of weight onto that frame. Hopefully we can get him.
