I would guess the pecking-order for DB's is something like this:

PS2
Campbell
ITS
E. Smith
Griffin
O'neal

Bama takes 3 of the 6. Anyone disagree with that order?

I agree with that order.

I haven't read through a lot of the articles posted, but I'm assuming the staff is banking on PS2/Campbell, ITS and one of the other 3 DBs? I can't imagine the discussions PS2 and Campbell are having.

Depends on value of CB over Safety. O'Neal is a S at the next level, for sure. Some thing that's Smith's best spot too. So if we want 2 CBs and 1 S, the order would change somewhat. Just on a pure talent standpoint, I think Griffin and O'Neal are currently better than Smith, though Smith may have a very high ceiling.

I think ITS may end up as a S in college

but I have seen this before especially in Cordele.

I guess he's saying we have a bagman in Cordele? Or maybe UT does.

Eddie Smith is ahead of ITS (or at least has been). Haven't heard yet where O'Neal would be.

If our coaches indeed have Eddie Smith ahead of ITS...are the recruiting services massively underrating Smith or overrating ITS? And yes, I trust our coaches over 247 and rivals.

Kipp Adams... 247 mod that chimed in with the broken phone update says its UGA vs UTk for Walker. One of the Georgia "insiders" says UTk leads due to Sherrer and Pruitt putting in major work, but UGA is getting the last visit.
As always, TIFWIW.

It wouldn't surprise me if nobody (including Saban, Kirby and Pruitt) knows for sure what Walker will do until a signed LOI comes in somewhere. The school that receives it might even keep it under wraps until late on NSD, to keep the others wondering.

Very good chance Walker does't end up at Bama, but anyone that says they're not in the equation at this point loses credibility IMO. Saban and Tosh wouldn't be wasting valuable time down the stretch on someone they didn't feel they could land. If the CFB world has learned anything the last decade it should be this: Never Count Nick Saban Out.

Well I suppose there's always that possibility

True, but with us winning the NCG, with Tua and several other freshman stepping in/up as they did, and the great staff Saban has put together, an NSD flop doesn't seem likely at all to me. Bama is the frickin' gold standard in CFB.

I agree but this staff has not established the long term relationship with some of these alabama targets.

Plus if Walker was definitely not coming to UA I would assume he would have already decommitted at this point. Him looking around there is no surprise to be had so why stay committed.
