Is it just "some dude" or is it "a dude"?

A dude at this point.

Apparently there was a guy on the Georgia 247 board saying Quay had stopped answering UGA coaches' calls and texts.

Another site I frequent expects him to show up this weekend though.

ETA: Here's the original post from the Georgia guy:

quote:

At this point do not expect Quay Walker to be in this class. As of last night he was not returning calls from the coaches. It can turn at any moment, but I got a call from a close member of the staff. Just wanted to let you guys know what I have heard. He could just be taking a break for a few days, but I have seen this before especially in Cordele.

ETAA: Appears a broken cell phone was the culprit. Nothing to see here.

This same writer is in radio and just said unless Alabama is told no by three other corners ITs doesn't have a spot. With a visit to TN this week I don't think Bama gets him because they are slow playing for Surtain, Campbell and Eddie Smith.

Also said that Banks is ITs recruiter and He said that of all the coaches coaching him that Banks is the one he trust the most.

Hate to be that guy, but you couldn't pay me to flip from Princeton to UA, especially Finance. The connections from Princeton are centuries ahead of UA.

Hopefully it's in our favor, and not due to $omething related to his AU vi$it.

Depends on what you value. If you want to have a great experience as a football player go to UA. He is obviously smart, and I'm sure he will go far at either.

Oh I get that. I was just kicking around the option that he of a free UA undergrad degree and then still obtaining the benefits of a Princeton degree with a masters from there. It seems to me he'd gain valuable connections from both.

I haven't predicted the worst possible class, just a realistic class. I think Bama lands the following players.

Brown
Langham
Jackson
Ross
Waddle
ITS
Smith
Purdy

That is a pretty great finish, just not the one everyone wants.

That gets us a top 5 class, but that's pretty pessimistic. I think Bama has a legit shot at PS2, NPF and an outside shot at Campbell. Obviously not going to land everyone, but we should be able to pull at least one of the composite 5-star guys. I'm thinking we finish with the #3 or #4 composite class which would be excellent.

Burton Burns visited Vernon Jackson today. BOL previously reported that signs point to Jackson flipping to stay closer to home.
