Really surprised with just 8 spots left, recruits aren't trying to commit.

Going to be a interesting NSD. The 3 players committed could easily decommit.

UCF brought in three-star quarterback Brock Purdy on his official visit on Wednesday and it concludes today as he's set to go to Alabama. While a source told me that the visit with the quarterback went really well, they understand that it'll depend on Alabama's situation and if he prefers to head to Orlando over Iowa State. UCF is looking for a quarterback in this class, but it might have to come through a transfer. Purdy should announce after he takes his official visits, but UCF will have to continue to fight in this one.

That Southern Georgia game was a rough outing for us.

What a miserable bunch, 2011 ended them and everything Saban had built there.

Hank South (BOL) says possible grad transfer target K Austin Jones will visit Bama tomorrow.

He has not been offered a scholarship and says he isnt necessarily looking for one. He just wants a legit opportunity to come in and compete.

One notable tidbit is his coach says he does NOT get caught up in the moment. I think it was mentioned in our thread that he made 19 straight FG's before the ACL injury (kickoff coverage) in 2016.

Who was it that wanted drama leading up to NSD? I think we have plenty to go around this cycle, LOL.

He will get a shot to play. I heard Bama's new kicker is awful.

Like worse kicker Saban has had awful. That is saying something.

How is it possible that damn near every team we play against has a kick arse kicker besides us lol

Whats crazy is Orgeron is bringing in a pretty well-decorated Grad Transfer kicker from the DII level.

quote:

Tracy has made 81 percent (68-84) of his field goal attempts in three seasons at Assumption, booting 27 of 29 this past season and all 67 extra-point attempts to claim the 2017 Fred Mitchell Award, honoring the top placekicker in FCS, Division II, Division III and NJCAA. A two-time All-American, Tracy is the only player in Division II history to make six or more field goals in a game twice.

Award-winning DII Kicker transferring to LSU

Heck, maybe input from Banks that setup the Austin Jones stuff in the 1st place to shake things up at Bama. I mean Pappa Nasty was a Bama kid wanting to live the dream of kicking for the Tide, so its not like we went out of our way to find him.
