Purdy is our top QB target. White is likely a backup target if Purdy chooses another option.

Yeah, I agree and here is a comparison of the two qb's from the 247 staffer that brought the news of the visit to BOL.

White has a height advantage and has a bit more polish as a passer. His HS offense threw the ball more whereas Purdy is considered to be more of a true dual-threat.

He also said White kinda had a rough recruitment in terms of each school he was getting ready to commit to (Boise State, Oregon State, and Wash State) taking another QB at the last minute (right before he announced his commitment). When he committed to Princeton, he shut everything down. However his coach and his parents seem to really like the idea of him landing at Bama.

He played well when he had one job to do. As soon as they tried to expand his role, and needed him to play more snaps he absolutely tanked.

Maybe it was too much for his condition.

Holcombe is great on special teams.

You're right about his expanded role play. He struggled mightily when tasked to replace SDH.

My post was in jest. Keith is a really, really good kid.

Yes. He's a Diabetic. He wears an insulin pump. I knew the guy who programmed his pump for him. Good dude. He actually wrote the book Woodlawn. He is also a big Auburn guy. Funny stories.

I can't believe I've mellowed out as much as I have. I just don't have the fire I used to. I think I might be going through male menopause or something.

ETA: My sex drive is still on a "Slade Bolden" level though. Mrs. TideSaint is on 24/7 alert.

ETAA: I have also noticed an increase of old man strength in the gym lately. I guess I'm losing mental fortitude and reverting back to basic male instincts. fricking and lifting. I'll probably be brain dead in 5-6 years but a father to 20 with a bench press max of 500 pounds.

5 out of 9 has made us all a little more laid back. Speaking of that, we need to have a special celebration on the rant on 5/9. I'm sure everyone will want to participate

The Arkansas celebration on April 25th is the greatest thing to happen on the Rant. It's fricking glorious.

The Tua facts threads were funny as hell to me. I didn't even open the thread but the fact that there was even a thread named that was hilarious.

His tackle on Brown to prevent a sideline brawl was pretty clutch.
