Boise State took a commitment from a QB. So that may be one less option for Brock Purdy. Although there were two CBs to Iowa State for him this morning.
Also this morning, Bud Elliot CBd Quay Walker to UT and Julius Irvin to USC.

Waddle said he would be watching Bama's passing game closely in the playoffs.
Bama had no passing game in the playoffs until Tua came in.
Up until the point Tua came in, Ross and Waddle were going elsewhere.
Thanks to the Tua, they will both probably sign with the Tide.

I was talking about Ross who has never said that. People seem to forget that Dabo was the WR coach at CU before the HC. WR recruits look at Dabo like DB recruits look at Saban. Whether Dabo is the HC is works directly with the WRs.
And for the record we became a major player for Waddle once we hired Banks if I recalled who was his lead recruiter. And Ross most sites including ours still thinks he ends up at CU. So this wishful thinking that Tua is the WR whisperer is just that. He may make things look a little more positive for a WR but he is not the major factor in swinging them this way.

Can keep slicing the pie however you want, but I think a more optimistic future with our passing game helps recruit WR's. Doesn't ultimately matter though. Trevor Lawrence likely takes the job at Clemson if Bryant doesn't improve as well.

That was my point. With what Tua showed at QB on Jan 8th, Bama is NOW attractive to WRs.

I'm just ready for NSD. Seems like this cycle is dragging on forever. These kids pretty much know where they're going at this point, or should. Just playing the cat and mouse game at this point for most of them. Be nice if someone like Surtain or Langham would just cut the drama stuff, come out and commit and encourage others to follow them to Bama.

We had former players arrested when Jalen was the starter too. This isin't Tau's fault.

Well at least hes not our problem anymore.... I just dont get the things some of these millionaires do. Dui and possession are kind of understandable in a sense but this is crazy

I think Ruggs is the best of the bunch, but those three are all really freaking good. I'm super excited to see those guys on the field a lot next year.

Unfortunately, it is still relevant as long as Saban maintains the attitude, and keeps saying things like "it's not imperative that we make a decision right now" about the quarterback position.
It's Saban's team and he can decide who plays and he can decide when a change will be made and when everybody knows about a decision being made. It isn't his decision, though, where those kids decide to go and it's obvious that the decision of some them will be due to some degree about what kind of offense Alabama will have and that depends at least somewhat on who is the quarterback.
Reports that Daboll wanted to play Tagovailoa earlier and Saban didn't allow it might also concern some of those kids. They read sports articles too.
Hopefully Saban has made it ok for Locksley to inform those kids that, in fact, a decision has been made to go with Tagovailoa and hopefully Saban will stick to that. As noted, it's his team, so it's his call.
