He did put up huge numbers and is an accurate passer though. Obviously there are lots of intangibles that QBs need too.

Yeah, doesn’t look very big and doesn’t appear to have a rocket BUT looks very athletic (to my untrained eyes) and accurate.
Might as well sign a 6’ QB - will fit our current system with what we have on campus (and what may arrive in 19 with Taulia).

I would say he's got good athleticism for the type of QB he is.
He's not a dual threat, but seems to be a superior athlete in Arizona's top classification.
He can move around and make a few yards, a plus for a pure passer.

He's listed at 6'1" 197 pounds. He's probably taller than Tua.
He rushed for over 1,100 yards last season.
His arm is above average. We've won with much less arm talent.
His anticipation on routes is legit and he appears to have a great sense of pocket awareness.
I'm excited about him.

WTF are you talking about? Purdy is from Arizona. What does a Texas QB have to do with anything?

His film is legit.
I guess his height is less than ideal, but the kid is a player. He's accurate and athletic.

I don't see an above-average arm (at least by P5 standards), and I see solid athleticism but again, nothing that is going to stand out at an SEC level. I agree on your fourth point.

I'm just joking with you guys. I know you guys love this guy. I don't care who we get this year they won't be playing for a while. Hopefully he comes here. Supposedly UCLA really wants him.
