Hopefully we can snag a Grad Transfer DT regardless of who we get out of Mathis/Soloman. Sounds like we need a body for 1 year either way.

Chris Henderson is gone to Miami lol. I think we have a legit shot to land all guys on the list. My lowest gut feeling is todd Harris.
I wouldn't totally rule out Chris Henderson. Most had Xavier McKinney as a lock to Clemson.

The Auburn board thinks Benton would flip to them only if he doesn't have a spot in Bama's class.
Damn NCAA, just let the kids go where they want to. Screw the scholarship limits.

Rumors of no spot for him? Long time committed.

I feel like we would ask someone else to gray shirt or look around before Benton. He's a solid 4 star and top 3 state player. I would assume someone like Kendrick James or hunter Brannon would be out first. Also with Byers not qualifying that opens up another spot.
We are at 25 and look to definitely be signing Ray, Ruggs, and Smith. Solomon would have a spot for sure and I think Mathis does as well. That's 30. With parks and Harris that's 32. Brannon taking a whatever shirt and same with bulovas. That's 30 with the extra guys. And 28 without parks and Harris.

apparently both Devonta Smith and Henry Ruggs visited Tuscaloosa yesterday, so that's something.

I think it has been known for a while that Byers wasn't going to qualify.
Brannon was always going to be a greyshirt or blueshirt. Unless Bama misses on some people.
The kicker being a blueshirt is a plus. It might be why the other kicker decommitted, they knew the numbers where getting tight and asked him to blueshirt.

It looks like Smith, Ruggs, Ray, Solomon, Henderson are all for sure takes. I think Mathis is next in line, if we miss on Solomon or Henderson. I get the feeling Parks and Harris are out, unless we miss on some of the for sure takes.

I hope Parks isn't out. He has huge upside.

Thought we had like 4 spots available and then the K took a blue shirt and now Byers isn't going to qualify. We should have enough room for Ruggs, Smith, Solomon, Ray, and 1-2 more. If we don't get someone, it may just be because they preferred to go someplace else. Might not need to make it more complicated than that

I was feeling that way too, but when I saw that FSU & UF really cooled on him lately, along with apparent mixed feelings by Bama, I poked around some this morning. I got some feedback saying he has a history of being sent to the principle's office too often and that grades may also be a concern. I dunno how credible that info is, but there does seem to be a red flag or two.

I love the news on Byers is he decommitted from us.

No. BOL has moved Byers to our 2018 commitment class.
He is going to Gulf Coast Community College next year.
