LB Christopher Allen, Baton Rouge (La.) Southern Lab: The 6-foot-4, 234-pound Alabama commit looks solid for a defensive end. The impressive thing, though, is that he’s actually a linebacker. The fact that he can move as well as he can at his size is incredible.

Sounds like Bryant is having a good day. This is a big week for him. Guy we haven't had a chance to see a whole lot of in person.

DE LaBryan Ray, Madison (Ala.) Clemens: The 6-foot-4, 255-pound defender really made his name at the Army All-American Combine a few years ago, giving every offensive lineman in attendance fits. He carries his weight well and looks like he can hold up to the run just as well as he is able to rush the passer.

The hilarity and hypocrisy of the thread is that they are bashing Moses for choosing a school outside the state of Louisiana while praising a kid from Mississippi that wasn't "loyal" to his home state either.
It's simply amazing.

DeAngelo Gibbs considers 5-star Tide commit Dylan Moses as family
ORLANDO, Fla. — Two of the most high-profile recruits in the Class of 2017 are 5-star Alabama linebacker commit Dylan Moses and 4-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs, who is a major Crimson Tide target. Both recruits have been familiar to recruiting fans for several years as both prospects picked up scholarship offers from FBS schools as eighth-graders.
Because of the amount of time the two have spent at various recruiting events over the years, Gibbs and Moses have developed a good relationship with each other. In fact, Gibbs, who will make his commitment this Sunday at the Under Armour All-America Game, considers Moses family.
“That’s like my brother,” Gibbs told SEC Country. “We’ve been on the recruiting trail since the eighth grade. We were one of the first ever to get offers in the eighth grade. Ever since then, we’ve been close and tight. That’s like my bro, for real. I look out for him and he looks out for me.”
Gibbs will make his decision from his top 5 schools, which include Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn. Most in the recruiting industry believe his decision will come down to Alabama and Georgia.
Moses, the nation’s No. 1 outside linebacker from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), has been recruiting Gibbs to Alabama since he committed there in October. But Gibbs is also being recruited by commitments at other schools, too, such as 5-star Georgia safety commit Richard LeCounte.
“If I was committed to a school, I would be recruiting anyone that I thought could play with me,” Gibbs said. “At the end of the day, he realizes that it’s my decision and he wants what’s best for me. That’s the definition of a true friend.”
His relationships with other recruits are not going to play any factor in his decision this Sunday, but they sure won’t hurt.
“We’ve been talking about (our recruitment) ever since eighth grade,” Gibbs said of his conversations with Moses. “We throw each other ideas and opinions. He made his decision. It was a great fit for him. I think he will come in right away and contribute. He’s just telling me to do what’s best for me.”

Five-star Deangelo Gibbs has one school in mind
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Five-star athlete DeAngelo Gibbs will be making his final college decision at the Under Armour All-America Game on ESPN, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
The the 10th-rnaked player in the ESPN 300 will make his selection between a final five of Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.
“It’s just the emotions, the feelings I got with those schools,” Gibbs said of his final five schools. “It’s pretty much just how I felt at those schools and the way the coaches treated me, talked to me and the opportunities I have at those schools is really why those schools are my top schools.”
The Loganville, Georgia, native has taken notice of Georgia’s third-ranked recruiting class, which consists of three five-stars commitments. Gibbs, however, says he feels no pressure to commit to the in-state Bulldogs.
“No pressure at all,” Gibbs said. “At the end of the day it’s my decision, even though they have been picking up a lot of great guys, there’s no pressure on me. It’s my decision. If I want to go there -- then fine -- I’ll go there, if not, then on to the next."
Despite not feeling the pressure to attend Georgia, Gibbs admits the Georgia recruits have been relentless in their pursuit of the second-ranked athlete in the country.
“Hard is not the word. They are coming at me extremely hard,” said of the Georgia commits. “That’s their job, that’s what they are supposed to do. If I were committed to a school, I would want to go after a player that I thought was pretty good.”
When Sunday rolls around, Gibbs said his decision will come down to five factors.
“Really, it’s going to be about my position coach, how can I fit in their system, opportunity, how do I relate with the team, and do I have a feel for their campus, location and school.
“I have my mind made up already. They just fit in with the five factors I was really focusing on. Every one of those factors was checked off. My family knows and they are on board with my decision.”

4 star S Xavier McKinney will commit Sunday at the game and he knows his decision. He will decide between Bama, Clemson and Ohio state. Clemson is the favorite in my opinion.
Markaviest Bryant has Bama and uga as his top two. Auburn, Arkansas and LSU are the other three schools in his top three.

I am sure we gave him a lot to think about but really wasn't much doubt where he was going.
