Was just watching Tia's highlights. There is no chance his listed 40 time is correct, 247 lists him as 4.9 40. Just watching him I would say like 4.6 or 4.7 at worst

Yep he would be brought down every play within 10 yards of the LOS if he ran a 4.9.

Stranger things have happened but its incomprehensibe to me that Najee would be committed to us for two years and then switch at the last minute. Has that happened to us with Saban? I cannot recall.

He ran a 5.11 before, so pairing that with a 4.9 doesn't sound so crazy.
He's probably quicker than he is fast, and/or sometimes high schoolers don't really train for stuff like 40 yard dashes. Technique can make or break you if you are not naturally fast.
