Ben Davis was from Gordo.

Hey Nick, remember what I told you we needed on offense the night we met 7 years ago?
We still need it.
We still need it.

I used Tom work with a lot of people from West Alabama. They were all good folks. Seemed like every damn one of them owned horses

However, I've started every game thread since the Ole Miss game last year (I don't know who started that one FWIW) and we haven't lost.
I'll start tomorrow's game thread.

I hope not.
Washington just kicked the shite out of Colorado.
We need to do the same in our game.

Washington-Colorado was close, then I remembered Bama was playing Texas and started watching that. Needless to say, I should have kept watching football.

I badly need to sleep since I have to leave for the game in 4 hours, but I can't, so...
New projections for this class based on some info from Redfish, Rodney Orr, and a couple others yesterday. DB is still the tough projection other than Daniel Wright.
We lose three from our current list:
DB- Dean
OL- Baker
DL- Byers (grades; still very iffy)
We get the following:
WR- Ruggs
OL- Trey Smith (close call with Clemson and OSU also in the mix, but parents want him at UA and we get last crack... utk could still be in it, but it doesn't sound good for them right now)
DL- Aubrey Solomon
DL- Kinlaw
DL- Ray
DL- Jarez Parks
DL- Kaindoh (we feel like we have a very good shot to overtake Ped State)
DB- Daniel Wright
DB- Wade (really just a guess here)
DB- Gibbs (another guess)
If I'm being completely honest here, I would lump in the following four DBs and say that we'll sign two of the four of: Wade, Gibbs, Jacoby Stevens, and James Robinson (the guy from South FL I was forgetting a couple days ago).
Despite the Austin guy that has the close ties at L6U to Jacoby Stevens, someone very close to the Stevens situation mentioned again yesterday to keep an eye on that one. It will go down to the wire.
I think Trey Smith is a reverse Browning situation, and that that will win out for us at the end.
I'm sure thUGa will make another push for Solomon. We'll see what happens there, but reading between the lines, I think we hit a grand slam with him this past weekend.
If no Trey Smith, we keep Baker, I guess. Isaiah Wilson still very possible, but have to think Michigan will be tough.
Just one man's take. I'm sure the list will change again a dozen more times between now and February. Who knows? Maybe another Joshua Jacobs will emerge in January again.

Now Ohio State is getting CBs for Marvin Wilson.
They must have laid out the golden pussy for last weekend's game with their official visitors.
First Browning, then Smith and now Wilson.
Jesus.

They hit Texas hard this year. Okudah is the primary reason why the interest started for Browning, and he was in Wilson's ear all last weekend. They also have Dobbins in the fold although I'm not sure how vocal he is as a recruiter
Smith is looking at the OT depth at OSU and probably smiling. He was a 0 chance before Tennessee fell apart. Josh Myers is listed as a T but a lot of OSU people think he is a better G prospect, and Davis is only a G
