FWIW, I talked to one of his cousins and he is as solid of a commit as we could get. Not sure how coveted he is, but I always like to see dudes who bleed crimson.

Luiji Vilain has seen his recruitment explode recently.n"I'm just very thankful for everything," he said. "It's feel great to get these offers, but it makes me want to continue to work harder and strive to become better each day.I'm going to continue to stay humble."
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Vilain is nearing 20 scholarship offers and one of the most recent ones came from Florida.
"It really means a lot because I know for a fact Florida is known for producing defensive lineman and they're a big-time SEC program," he said. "Florida is also a very nice place and they have a great tradition.
"(Defensive backs) coach (Torrian) Gray is recruiting me and I had a previous relationship with him when he was at Virginia Tech. He told he loves recruting Virginia players since he coached up there for so long and that he loves the talent in the state. He's also told that the academics are very good at Florida. It's definitely great that I already know him. He's just a cool guy and he's always honest with me. I'm definitely going to try to get down there for a spring practice."
The following day, Alabama offered the four-star prospect.
"It doesn't get any bigger than Alabama," Vilain said. "They're the national champions and they've been a powerhouse for so long. They're also know for developing defensive lineman, so that really sticks out. I'm definitely going down to visit. They actually invited me down there this weekend, but unfortunately I can't go. I'm planning to try to visit for a spring practice."
"(Outside linebackers) coach (Tosh) Lupoi have been talking for a few weeks and he's the one who offered me. I like how honest he is with me. He tells me everything he likes about me, but also tells me what I need to work. I also like his enthusiasm. He's fired up about me. He's just a really cool guy and I enjoy talking to him."

Even though he still plans to visit in the next couple of weeks, it would seem our chances are slim.
quote:
The relationship he has with UGA assistant coach Glenn Schumann is another link.
“I really know how he is,” Robertson said. “I really know the kind of guy he is. He’ll put in early work with you and stay late as well. He’ll take care of you. He is like a family member to me.”
The Savannah Christian standout stated it would’ve been “50-50” whether or not he would have committed to Alabama before his junior season if Schumann had not been on that staff. Carlos Robertson even felt Schumann was the main reason his brother committed to Alabama.
Even though he still plans to visit in the next couple of weeks, it would seem our chances are slim.

Anyone notice how few targets we have for DT's ? Especially among the big names. Its MArvin Wilson and no one else.

His highlights mainly consist of him coming from deep center field to make a tackle.
There's 2-3 INTs, but nothing amazing. Not that big either...

7 offers at SDE so far, 13 at DT.
Opposed to 16 SDE offers and 30 DT offers in '16.
