Really hope this isnt bad news concerning either Allen or Parks. This is weird... recruiting news doesnt usually move at warp speed; at this pace the class will be full by tomorrow afternoon.
Maybe staff sending a message commit or GTFO !

I know it wouldn't affect Parks, in regards to Allen and Phillips, Hank said it could be who commits first or they could just take both.

fairly confident in Ruggs and Smith. also fairly confident in at least 3-4 decommits before January. Ultimately, this class will finish top 3 as usual, but gonna take some special swaps of currents that decommit in place of really talented kids currently uncommitted to hold down the mythical recruiting title for an 8th consecutive year (or whatever it is), if that matters to anyone.

We a graph to show the ebb and flow of confidence in the 2017 class. Or any class we've signed.

Alabama’s depth along its defensive line received some good news on Monday, as freshman Raekwon Davis and junior college transfer Jamar King both have been academically cleared to participate in fall practice. News was first released by Tide Sports (Tuscaloosa News), upon the eligibility made known for both players. Davis and King both signed in the Tide’s 2016 class.

You guys still feeling good about Chris Allen?

I tend to like our chances, but Alabama is in on a ton of LBs.

We keep hearing about a "boom" on our side but they won't say who.

I like Allen over Parks at Jack, FWIW.

That's "insider" talk right there. It's a safe bet LSU will get a commitment this month, and they will claim whoever it is.

Our boom is likely done with four in a week. At least until closer to NSD.

Yea, could easily interchange them........that's why I said 1A and 1B. Be nice to take both.

With the new rules allowing coaches to RT recruits, it should be easier to ascertain Alabama's recruiting priorities, right?
More RTs of a player means more important? Or is that too simplistic?

The boom is over possibly until we land a 5* WR two weeks from today (Devonta Smith).

My inside sources tell me water is wet and Bama will have a few more booms before signing day.
I'd like to go into greater detail but I have to protect my sources

Lots of rumblings of very good things for Bama and AJ Terrell. He may even be privately committed. Pruitt and Spanky Sabear love his size, and think he could be either a big corner or move to safety like Eddie Money did. It'll be interesting to see how things finally shake out on the DB recruiting. Don't fret on the lack of pure safeties. Our phillosophy has changed more toward the "have several fast and versatile guys who can run" back there. We'll have some CBs that play S for us.

You're right. How rude of me. I'll just call him The Midget instead.
