Neal holds a number of early offers including Florida State, South Carolina and USC. His coach touched on what makes him stand out at such a young age.

“First off it’s just the measurables right off the top,” Branham said. “He’s barely fifteen and he’s 6-foot-6, 353 pounds. He’s got a tremendous first step, he’s as aggressive as any kid I’ve ever coached as a senior, right now as a freshman. We saw all these measurables inside of the weight room and the classroom and the goals in his future, and we really felt over the next few years that he would end up with more offers than any person could imagine.”

Being ranked so high nationally how did Tua only hold 14 offers? I see guys ranked lower with alot more offers.

I really don't know, unless the distance scared some teams off. The only other thing I can think of is his height. His height isn't that bad though.

I'm willing to bet it was 2 things that kept people away, distance and likely the USCw thing (with it being his favorite school growing up or whatever). A lot of teams probably figured he was a lock for the Trojans.

Glad Saban and co. didn't

Kids get offers just on film so I dont get it. As you said glad we offered. The kid has a big arm and looks accurate, plus he has some wheels.
