They have a QB to sell. It's not like they'll go back to 6-6 after this year.
They also have a need for a big time receiver. We still have a go to guy for two more years.

We both have unproven QBs. Look at Kyle Allen and kyler Murray. Or Jeff driskel Doesn't always pan out. Jacob Eason is the best QB in the class and it isn't close. Patterson is like 6'1 185. No way he's over 200. Barnett is at 6'6 220 now. Anyways, no point in arguing because it's AJ Brown's decision but Patterson is not that amazing.

4* LB and current UGA commit Jaleel Laguins will announce on NSD between Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He didn't make his scheduled OV to Alabama on the 22nd due to weather so this could be Kirby drumming up some positive pub for UGA on NSD similar to what McElwain is doing with some of his commits (Perine, Joseph etc.)

I guess I'd be ok with Mykel Jones if Bama doesn't land AJ, he's a different type of WR though and I have always been sort of biased toward bigger more physical guys, but the smaller more athletic speed guy does well in Kiffin's system.
I was assuming Jones was a replacement for TJ Simmons since AJ is a different type of WR

Weve had unproven QBs start the last two years. The difference is Nick Saban is so conservative that he wont allow the QBs to completely screw up the season. For example I cant remember 10 plays where Coker threw the ball over the middle where the LBs are because they didn't trust his decision making.

Crazy Mykel was suppose to be the top notch recruit lol. On another note Mykel was the first to congratulate Knott on twitter on his commitment
