I'm not sure how old he is, but you have to think he wants to be an OC. I'd like to hang on to him for a few more years though

He's only 36, and his first OC job with Clemson was overwhelming for him. I think he had to unlearn some bad coaching, though that's probably the lasting thought on a lot of people's minds looking for an OC.
He's a great recruiter, young, alma mater isn't a destination job, only making 300k, and getting some publicity rub from these WRs Bama has had.
He's had offers for "lateral" moves, but I doubt any school offering him an OC spot is offering much more than he's making(which isn't a ton either). I think he knows he can pick his spot from where he's at now, and he's waiting patiently...

He did get more than Curt Cignetti and Mike Groh did in their contracts, Groh maxed out at 285k after bonuses(and Bama got some back )
According to SDS, the top 3 salaries for WR Coaches are:
Dameyune Craig Auburn $500,000
Lawrence Dawsey Florida State $463,000
Bryan McClendon Georgia $400,000
Those are the cream of the crop, so i could see him getting a bump.
Interestingly enough, Bama only made 2 top 3s in position coach salaries. Mel Tucker was the highest paid DB coach at 500k and....wait for it....Bobbeh Williams was the highest paid TE coach at 440k.

Depends on what he is still getting from USCw.
The more he gets from Bama, the less he gets from USCw and the less Bama has to spend on other assistants.
Or at least that was the talk last year after he didn't get a raise...
