68 QB Dwayne Haskins Jr.
Potomac (Md.) Bullis School
Scouting report: There may not be a smoother passer in the 2016 class than Haskins. His delivery is very quick and nearly the same every time. That, combined with his footwork, make him a very accurate passer. He has the arm strength to make a 60-yard throw, but also knows how to put touch on short and intermediate passes. Haskins is more mobile than people give him credit for, but he does not get a lot of called runs in his offense.
Latest: Many people believe Haskins will end up at Maryland and he will tell you honestly that he doesn't know where he is going to go because he hasn't taken a closer look at some of the other schools he is interested in. He will be at Notre Dame for its junior day this coming weekend and he is looking at going to a number of schools in the South, Midwest and on the West Coast. Haskins has said in the past that he wants to be committed by the beginning of the season, but there is a lot of work to be done before then.
Leaders: Maryland, Notre Dame, Michigan
Way-too-early prediction: Maryland

quote:
72 DT Benito Jones
Waynesboro (Miss.) Wayne County
Scouting report: Not the biggest defensive tackle in America by any stretch, Jones uses his quickness to be disruptive. He is a master of leverage and showcases solid balance. If he is somehow able to maintain his agility while he adds size, he could develop into an All-American college player.
Latest: Jones chose Ole Miss in August and seems solid in his commitment.
Leaders: Jones remains committed to Ole Miss

quote:
74 CB Trayvon Mullen
Coconut Creek, Fla.
Scouting report: Mullen is a pure cover corner that locks down with a nice blend of speed and length. His long arms are certainly an asset, and he smoothly transitions out of his backpedal when it's time to turn and run.
Latest: Mullen says Miami, Alabama, Tennessee are the three teams that stand out the most at this juncture but LSU is certainly involved as well. He also plans to visit Florida State this offseason.
Leaders: Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU
Way-too-early prediction: Alabama

quote:
76 CB Khalil Ladler
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Scouting report: Ladler can run with nearly any receiver in America and rarely gives up a deep pass. He's a pure cover corner that brings a lot of attitude to the field as well. He has fantastic hands for a defensive back.
Latest: LSU's stock may have gotten a bump with Ladler when his high school teammate Saivion Smith committed to the Tigers recently. Florida State is also a big-time player.
Leaders: Florida State, Tennessee, Georgia and LSU.
Way-too-early prediction: Florida State

Thanks fellas.
Now if we could get everyone else to participate we'd be good.

if only something would happen in recruiting

Seems like the staff is putting a premium on spots
I know we don't have a Bball coaching search thread, and it is OT but looks like if Bama's offer is the right amount it might be Tom Crean

Nick Saban has added two analysts to his staff at Alabama, according to multiple reports. Those two analysts are Eric Kiesau and Charlie Weis, Jr., who have been hired as off-the-field coaches, BamaOnLine has confirmed.
Kiesau spent last season as Kansas' wide receivers coach. Prior to that, he spent two seasons as Washington’s offensive coordinator. He will reportedly serve as an offensive analyst with the Crimson Tide.
Weis, Jr., spent the last three seasons as a team manager at Kansas under his father, Charles Weis. It is unclear as to what his role will be in Tuscaloosa, though, at this point in time.

41 OT Ben Bredeson
Hartland (Wisc.) Arrowhead
Scouting report: What he lacks in height, the 6-foot-4, 270-pound Bredeson makes up in technique, athleticism and intensity. He is well ahead of the curve from a fundamentals standpoint and has some of the best offensive line film in the class.
Latest: Bredeson had a top four of Midwest programs for several months, but he recently added Alabama and Stanford to that group after both schools offered last month. He plans to take official visits before making a final decision.
Leaders: Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Stanford and Wisconsin.
Way-too-early prediction: Wisconsin

quote:
43 S Deontay Anderson
Manvel, Texas
Scouting report: At 6-0, 188 pounds, Anderson is a big safety with tremendous range. He has a big frame and his long arms allow him to make a play on the ball even if an opponent has a step on him.
Latest: Anderson does not have any visits scheduled, but he has taken trips to Texas A&M, TCU, and LSU. He also plans to attend the Rivals Camp Series: Dallas in March.
Leaders: Anderson lists a top 10 of Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC.
Way-too-early prediction: Texas

quote:
47 ATH Shyheim Carter
Kentwood, La.
Scouting report: Carter is a versatile threat with the ability to play a few positions on the college level. His ability to change direction at the drop of a hat, his vision, and his size (5-foot-10, 181 pounds) make him a tough matchup.
Latest: Carter committed early to Alabama, but LSU remains hot on his trail. He has recently visited both Alabama and LSU.
Leaders: Committed to Alabama

quote:
52 DT Antwuan Jackson
Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove
Scouting report: At 6-foot-2 and 275 pounds, Jackson is a versatile defensive lineman who could play inside or outside at the next level depending on speed. He's fast off the ball and has an excellent array of pass-rushing moves for a player his age.
Latest: Jackson recently visited Alabama and Auburn and continues to have an affinity for Pac-12 programs like Oregon and UCLA.
Leaders: Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina.
Way-too-early prediction: Auburn
Posted on 3/18/15 at 9:24 am to TideSaint
quote:
58 OT Willie Allen
River Ridge (La.) John Curtis
Scouting report: Allen stands 6-7 and weighs 300 pounds. He has unusual foot quickness and is one of the toughest guys you'll find in the trenches.
Latest: Allen has already attended Junior Days at LSU and Ole Miss, and he would like to visit Georgia, Alabama, UCLA, Florida State, Miami, and Arkansas.
Leaders: Allen does not claim any leaders.
Way-too-early prediction: LSU

An offer to Argyle,Texas TE J.C. Chalk. He is the grandson of Gene Stallings. But he's committed to Clemson. Not surprising with Dabo Sweeney having played for Stallings. The kid also seemed to feel slighted that he just now got offered and that Nick Saban "just figured out" who his grandfather is.
