Studs up front (on both sides of the ball) are like quality arms in a starting rotation in baseball - you can never have too many. I want them all. I want Little at OT. Now with JP back in the fold at DC I want Derrick Brown at DT.

I guess what my brain was thinking and what I typed was different. Two hours sleep in the last 30 isn't helping. It's pretty well known that CNS wanted him as a DB most of the process, though.

My understanding is that Kirby wanted to keep Pruit but the administration there at UGA wanted him gone. I'm by no means an insider but a guy I work with his son is committed to UGA as a DT and they're not happy Pruit is gone from UGA. In fact they are planning a visit to BAMA now bc he's gone.

If this is true, and The administration is making those calls, then Kirbys tenure at UGA is going to be a disaster.

In case anyone didn't see it, Mecole Hardman tweeted Roll Tide about 2 hours ago, then retweeted a story about how Pruitt coming to Bama has helped his recruitment to Bama. Also retweeted his own highlight video here.

RB/CB, Pruitt was a big part in him being recruited for CB.
He looks damn good as a runner though too. Just a little skinny and not really the bruising back we're used to.
Supposedly he plays QB too, but all the highlight videos I see are him taking snaps from the wildcat or option-reads.
