That looks like a high school goal post too, which is an extra 5 feet width wise. The leg is obviously there, but will the accuracy be when he doesn't get to pick his angles?

Kickoffs are definitely a plus for him...

Pass sets time for announcement
Ryan Bartow - 6 hours ago
Quarterback Jawon Pass (Columbus, Ga./Carver) still plans to announce his college choice July 16.

The ceremony has been set for 4 p.m. at Carver High School's auditorium, per his high school coach Joseph Kegler.

His teammates, family, coaches and media will be in attendance.

The Crystal Ball reads 39-percent for Alabama, 33-percent for Louisville, 18-percent for Auburn, six-percent for North Carolina and three-percent foggy.

Pass visited Auburn twice, Alabama, Louisville, North Carolina and Virginia Tech in the past month.

The U.S. Army All-American still plans to return to Alabama July 14-15 after returning from The Opening in Oregon July 4-10.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 2 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 7 prospect in Georgia in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com.

I'd like to see him kick in full pads too.

It's a hell of a lot easier to kick in shorts and a t-shirt than with a uniform on.

Do we all think if Pass picks us he stays at QB?

Unless he's faced with staying and switching position after losing multiple QB battles, I'd expect him to stay at QB for the long haul.

Jalen Hurts has some nice mitts though: LINK

A couple of LSU posters are saying they are moving to a 3-4 base defense. They may start going after the same type of defensive players as us as a result.

Steele is a 3-4 guy, so that would make sense. I feel like they are at least two recruiting cycles away from having the personnel to play 3-4 effectively.

Where else is he going to play. He doesn't look like the type of athlete that could switch. I think Hurts looks like the better athlete to me.

Where has Steele ever ran a 3-4 when he was in charge and the decision maker? Always a 4-3 guy.

He ran multiple defense at Baylor and Clemson. Was part of 3-4 base defenses at Nebraska and Alabama.

When he has been the decision maker, he has run a 4-3 base. Although he held the Defensive Coordinator title under Saban, it was Saban's defense.

Wiltfong has a tendency to go out on a limb with a pick and then change to the trending pick closer to the decision date.

Who are you talking about? Kelly? They aren't even in his top 8.
