Alabama 2015 signee Anfernee Jennings recently had surgery to repair a bulging disc in his back and will be out for the upcoming season, sources have confirmed to BamaOnLine. Jennings, however, is expected to see a full recovery and be fine.
The Dadeville (Ala.) High School product was a four-star recruit and the No. 11-ranked weak-side defensive end prospect in the 2015 recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was also the No. 6-ranked player in the state of Alabama and the No. 172-ranked overall recruit for 2015.
Jennings committed to play for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide on March 6, 2014, shortly after attending the team's Junior Day. He was a part of Alabama's top-ranked recruiting class for 2015 -- the program's fifth-straight top-ranked signing class.

Well, he was probably redshirting anyway. Good to go ahead and fix it now

Oregon State wide receiver Richard Mullaney has elected to transfer from the Beavers, has already graduated and received his release and is eligible immediately for one season.
On Sunday, Mullaney will visit Alabama. The Tide is a potential landing spot for him and sources have indicated that if things go well on his visit on both ends, Alabama is prepared to take him.

Why would we take him? WR is one position we are deep at.

Maybe with Sims out with injury and a lot of the depth either just arriving or not much experience they see the need. He was nicknamed Mr reliable, so clutch when needed. He had over 700 yards in 2013 but in 2014 season was cut short with injury to elbow. At 6'3 and the experience he brings may end up being a nice target for whoever our QB is.

True. I just really want to see what Ridley, Foster, and Black can do.

quote:sorta. we have a lot of bodies with no experience, and we lost one of our most promising guys to a bad acl tear. we have tons of potential at the position, but this guy has good college experience, had a sophomore season where he went for 788 yards, had his junior season cut short with an injury. if there is room, i dont see why we wouldnt give him a shot. hes big and has great hands, could be a nice possession type receiver for us.

looks pretty good

Cam Sims is a big body but do you guys think that he is better than Foster or Stewart.

JK Scott worked out ok.
He had the talent to endure the bad coaching. Not everyone does.

Same here but this guy is clutch when needed it seems. Going into last fall he was placed on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. I am not saying he will be our top WR if he ends up here but will be a reliable target for our new QB.

What bad coaching did we hire a kicking coach?

I will be making my college decision at the 2015 Nike: The Opening (@TheOpening ). At this point unofficial visits are crucial.~ 27 days
Coming off an FSU visit. Hmm...

That's not what I am saying; I am not a fan of these QB and special teams coaching guru types. If I were a coach I would expect my players would be getting all the coaching they need from our own coaches and wouldn't allow these outside guys. That's just me but I feel most of these clowns are just in it to make some cash and I wouldn't have it if I were a coach. Bama has gotten a few can't miss kickers from this Sailor clown and none have worked out except for Jk and he has enough talent that not even Bobby Williams can ruin him.

Most kickers are left to themselves for the most part during practice. It hard to change mentally some of these guys after the mess up or get hurt which Griffin has had both.

The heck with that. This guy caught 58 receptions for 788 yards as a sophomore and was on the Biletnikoff watch list going into last year before getting injured early on and going out for the year. This would be a HUGE addition for one year. Absolutely no downside to it. You take him all day every day if you can get him. Looks like Norwood on his highlights.
