Bo Scarbrough is a 5-star athlete whose best position is running back. However, he's headed to Alabama, which is a program loaded with great runners.
It would not be shocking to see Scarbrough try to crack the lineup for a few seasons in the offensive backfield, even getting some carries, only to move to defense after awhile.
At 6'2" and 225 pounds, he's a straight-line athlete with good speed and strength. Seeing time at running back and linebacker or safety in Tuscaloosa is possible for Scarbrough.

BR also Power Ranked the Top OL in the 2015 class:
quote:
10. Richie Petitbon
Size: 6'4", 301 pounds
School: Gonzaga High School (Washington, D.C.)
Junior Season Highlights
The Eagles reached the playoffs and featured a dominant rushing attack with Richie Petitbon paving the way. Gonzaga gained 2,400 yards on the ground, according to AL.com.
Scouting Report
Petitbon comes from a football family. His grandfather was an NFL All-Pro safety and coached the Washington Redskins. His dad played at Maryland.
This lineage has left him with excellent awareness on the field. He anticipates what the defense is sending in his direction and quickly reacts.
His efforts aren't restricted to the line of scrimmage. He disengages and quickly gets to the second level, sealing off space by blocking a linebacker.
He projects favorably as a guard in college.
Recruitment Status
Petitbon is a primary target for Alabama, which continues to produce NFL linemen on a perennial basis. He's spent significant time in Tuscaloosa and figures to line up an official visit in the future. There will be some local pressure to continue a family legacy by attending Maryland, while Penn State, LSU and Boston College are also in the picture.

8. Matthew Burrell
Size: 6'5.75", 290 pounds
School: C.D. Hylton High School (Woodbridge, Va.)
Junior Season Highlights
Matthew Burrell was a driving force behind one of Virginia's most dominant attacks. The Bulldogs averaged nearly 300 rushing yards per game en route to a 10-win campaign, per MaxPreps.
Scouting Report
Burrell is a bullying tackle prospect who picks apart the defensive front with powerful force and continuous push. He's a relentless run-blocker who keeps his legs churning through the whistle.
His knee bend remains a work in progress, and he looks tight at times. He can make footwork improvements to handle speedy edge-rushers in college.
Recruitment Status
SEC rivals Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia are pushing hard for a commitment. Florida State and Michigan State extended offers in February. Burrell attended a recent junior day at Virginia Tech.

5. Jalin Barnett
Size: 6'4", 315 pounds
School: Lawton High School (Lawton, Okla.)
Junior Season Highlights
The Wolverines were unstoppable on the ground throughout an 11-1 campaign. Jalin Barnett led the charge up front for a team that averaged 313 rushing yards per contest, according to MaxPreps.
Scouting Report
Barnett is the most impressive guard prospect in America. He is versatile enough to compete at right tackle in college but has the makings of an All-American player inside.
His athleticism allows him to reach targeted spots with a surge, overwhelming defenders. The hand technique is exceptional, and he takes control at the point of contact, creating massive holes for the running back.
Recruitment Status
Oklahoma aims to add Barnett to a class that already features 4-star in-state tackle Josh Wariboko. The Sooners should be considered a strong favorite, with Alabama, Texas Tech and Stanford providing competition.

4. Martez Ivey
Size: 6'6", 280 pounds
School: Apopka High School (Apopka, Fla.)
Junior Season Highlights
The Blue Darters advanced to a state title game, with Martez Ivey overwhelming opponents. His efforts earned him a U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection.
Scouting Report
Ivey is the most athletically gifted offensive lineman on this list. His frame, though powerful, is predominately sleek.
He leaves room for 20-30 solid pounds at the next level. Ivey, a tackle, attacks the second level and eliminates linebackers on a consistent basis.
His quickness allows coaches to use him as a lead blocker downfield, where he cleans up the mess and clears a path. His most crucial improvements will occur in the passing game, where he can still be burnt by a good move.
Recruitment Status
Ivey is a coveted prospect in the Sunshine State, where Florida appears to be the favorite. He spent time at Auburn and Alabama in February.

Yes, even a program that practically has everything has needs. However, Alabama's needs are smaller than most.
For starters, it would be nice if the Crimson Tide signed another tight end, because only one was brought in last year. Next, adding more help at safety has to be a priority, as Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is gone, and Landon Collins could leave after this season, so more depth is needed.
Finally, believe it or not, it may be wise for 'Bama to sign another running back and inside linebacker.

Bleacher Report says Julio should have been a 6-star WR:
quote:
As was previously stated, the 2008 class featured an intense debate over who was the No. 1 receiver in the country between two prospects. The other talented pass-catcher was Julio Jones, a 5-star prospect from Alabama.
At 6'4" and 220 pounds, Jones was a dominant force whose game was based on physicality, speed and athletic ability. He intimidated cornerbacks due to his imposing size, and he also had the ability to power his way through jams at the line of scrimmage.
Not many receiver prospects have had the physical tools Jones showed in high school, as he looked exactly how coaches wanted a perfect receiver prospect to look. Jones signed with Alabama, where he totaled 179 receptions for 2,653 yards and 15 touchdowns for his career with the Crimson Tide.
Jones not only looked like a 6-star receiver, but he also went on to produce like one.

Is the John Besh hullabaloo worth it?
Didn't want to comment on it over there seeing as the thread is already at 3 pages, but my wife and I stayed at the Hilton in New Orleans the last time we went. Luke is on the first floor of the hotel. We ate brunch there our last day and it was really, really good.

Anybody hearing rumors of Chad Lindsay transferring?

I figured we'd be losing a couple OL with the number we're bringing in with the '14 class

If you go for brunch get the crab cake Benedict . It was awesome. Probably the best I've ever had and I make it at home quite often.

I think we are just doing dinner. Our days are going to be spent sleeping/recuperating/going to the festival.
Had some crab cake eggs benny last weekend that was out of this world.

If you like sushi there is a fantastic sushi bar downtown called Horinoya. It's closed on Sundays though.

We made OT Drew Richmond's 11 finalists:
Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, FSU, LSU, Memphis, UNC, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and UCLA.
I like how it's eleven, not ten.
He plans on committing Sept. 9th to honor one of his friends who passed away.
