That said, Warmack could be one of them, but personally I don't think he'll flip. We have a TON of OL targets at the moment, so we'll find someone
It's kinda funny, but I guess it makes some sense. Kids are not worried about competing against others recruited in their own class but are wary of competing against those signed in previous classes.

I guess it is that one extra year on campus that they think gives the other guy the benefit. Although if the incoming kid is an early enrollee, the class before only has six months advantage on the incoming freshman.

Yeah, I am trying to remember back to when I was in HS and I guess you think that one year makes a huge difference. But truthfully it rarely does. You would have to be almost equal in skill and effort for the year to make a difference.

Plus you got to think that half of the oline we signed last year may redshirt. If I had to guess, I'd say Casher, McBride, and Hassenauer redshirt.

Agreed. I would really be surprised if they don't all RS beside Cam and Dominick Jackson.

Agreed
I also think Dom could wiggle his way in the PT early and often. He's an animal

Dom
Not sure how quickly he can pick up our blocking schemes (especially since he is not an EE) but he kinda has the vibe we have had on past OLs but missed last year.

Yeah I loved the whole group Bama took this yr
I think Bama didn't sign but 1 OL in last yr's class that is the caliber of the top 4 or 5 guys Bama signed in this past class (Grant Hill) and he got in pretty often as a back-up
That's how good the group Bama signed this past class was on the OL

We offered an in-state DE yesterday:
Anfernee Jennings
I can't find film on him.
But here are his Junior stats:

Saban snuck in an offer to a CB from North Carolina late Friday night (sneaky bastard):
Mark Fields
He's ranked as the #101 player in the country by 247, yet he doesn't have any film.

For all you Devonaire Clarington lovers:
quote:
“Alabama has three tight ends right now,” Clarington said. “They have one guy that was a true freshman All-American. Alabama says that I have a good chance to start too because they have a lot of tight end positions they play.”
Clarington is also impressed by the winning tradition of Alabama.
“They are a hard working team,” Clarington said. “They are in the hunt for the national championship almost every year. That is the type of program you want to be a part of.”

Also found highlights for Mark Fields:
Highlights
His Hudl profile lists him as Mark Fields II. I wonder if his dad is former Saint and Panther linebacker Mark Fields? He does live in North Carolina.
