Tyron Johnson catches and easy slant on Minkah Firzpatrick, who was playing off coverages.

Poor route by Daylon Charlot. Had some weird double step off the line.

Inside Drill for team Highlight.
Christian Wilkins and Leo Lewis combine for a TFL.
Tommy Hatton with a nice down block to spring Damien Harris for a touchdown.
White OL showing improvement again. A pulling Toby Weathersby just destroyed Darrell Williams.

Deionte Thompson playing a little too deep on John Burt. Easily got beat.
Kendall Sheffield with an interception but he was out of bounds. Still nice coverage though.

Byron Cowart plays off a double and makes a great play on the edge. Still dominant.
Jahvoni Simmons steps up and fills the hole. Lacks size but is a physical kid. Next play Simmons reads the QB keeper for a TFL.
Christian Wilkins and Terry Beckner are a handful inside.

I keep forgetting about Burgess-Becker.
I wonder how our safety commits will end up playing out in college. I know we play left and right instead of strong and free, but we still seem to always have the guy that plays closer to the line (Barron, collins, Woodall, Sunseri) and the guy that plays deep (Lester, smith, Perry, Johnson)
How do Yall see the youngsters stacking up at each spot?
Los safeties: Anderson, Clark
Hybrids: SBB, Hootie
Deep safeties: Thompson, Harrison
I'm sure I'm forgetting someone too. That's a solid group of young players at a position that was viewed as a potential problem not long ago. I wouldn't mind Anderson and Clark being moved to linebacker and being the "coverage specialists" with all the athleticim we'll have on the back end.

Charlot says he's no longer committed to Alabama
"I'm not committed as of now, but on signing day I will commit," Charlot said. "Other than that, I'm just looking around to see what else is out there."
"Opportunities," he said about what the biggest factor will be. "Where I can get on the field early."

I think it'll look something like that. If Clark stays at Safety, he'll play close to the LoS.
SBB and Hootie could be hybrids.
Thompson and Harrison could probably be hybrids too, but I also think they'll be deeper guys. Love their range.

That's where he, Cowart, and Ivey will end up.
Which is a terrifying prospect.
