That kid, #55, was 6'5", 340lbs and looked as slim as Chris Samuals did and he was just a sophmore.

Hoover not being able to score from the 3 after they blocked the first punt turned out to be the loss for them. They kept running the same plays and pounding with that big Oline in the second half. Put in a different more option type qb in the second half who lined up in shotgun

Austin Shepard and A. Taylor look like they are in great shape.

Gonzaga's starters beat SJP's starters. Johns and Greenwood gave Reid a tough day. Petitbon and Runyan played well. Swift is a star

Alabama pushing to flip Auburn linebacker commit Darrell Williams
Darrell Williams announced his verbal commitment to Auburn in May, but Hoover's star linebacker appears to be keeping his options open.
The 6-foot-3, 226-pounder is still being pursued heavily by Alabama while Oklahoma and Florida State continue to show interest.
"Auburn is the school I'm committed to, but at the same time, at the end of the day, people change their minds," Williams said Saturday after Hoover's season-opening loss to Miami-Central. "You just have to go with the flow. Everything happens for a reason. If I were to go to Auburn, then that's the place for me. If I were to go to Alabama or Oklahoma, then that would be the place for me."
Williams grew up an Alabama fan and told AL.com he nearly committed to the Crimson Tide with teammate Christian Bell, but he says Nick Saban wanted him to come to a camp in Tuscaloosa before pledging. Shortly after, he committed to Gus Malzahn and Auburn.
Williams says Alabama coaches contact him almost every day and are recruiting him a bit harder than the Tigers right now because "they're on the back side" and have to work harder.
"I talk to Coach (Mario) Cristobal probably the most, and Coach (Kirby) Smart," he said. "Every now and then they get me on the phone with Coach Saban. They want me to come there, obviously. Coach Smart knows how recruiting is, he tells me I have to go where I want to go."
As for Auburn, Williams speaks with Tiger assistants Rodney Garner and Ellis Johnson frequently. He plans to attend Auburn's season opener against Arkansas next weekend.
"Alabama is coming hard and Auburn is talking to me and keeping up the relationship," he said. "Oklahoma is trying really hard, but it's hard because they're so far away. I like their defense and the way they play, so it's nothing against them. If I'm holding back a bit (from Oklahoma) it's because of the two in-state schools.
"It's a big decision... it's pretty hard. My coach could tell I was stressed out about recruiting, but I know God has a plan."
Williams plans to take official visits to Auburn and Alabama this fall, but his other three have yet to be determined. With National Signing Day still several months away, is it possible he could flip his commitment?
"I guess it's possible," Williams said. "But I like Auburn, so we'll see. I don't want to sway (coaches) and make them think this or that, so I keep it level-headed."
Williams is ranked fourth on AL.com's A-List of the state's top senior prospects. Check out his interview in the video above, which also includes a few game highlights.

If we can't get Leo Lewis back, I'd rather get Ricky Deberry, put him in the middle, and call it a day at mlb.

Jennings' getting pressure despite consistent double-team. Forces QB to step up, and Alvies get another sack.

More Jennings pressure forces a turnover on downs. He's been relentless this quarter.

Woah. Big-time tackle by @anferneejenning, picked up Dreek Thompson and slammed him with ease. Product of added weight/strength this summer?

Might be the first time I've used a triple casty. Certainly warranted in this case.

Florida State offered 2019 prospect Peter Hayes-Patrick on Thursday evening according to 2015 four-star running back Jacques Patrick. Hayes-Patrick is the younger brother of the talented running back.
Hayes-Patrick has previously visited FSU with his older brother and family.
Hayes-Patrick, who is entering the eighth grade, is expected to attend Orlando (Fla.) Timber Creek for high school.
The Seminoles were the second school to offer. Ohio State offered earlier in the evening.
As for the older Patrick, he is set to decide in late October and currently has a Crystal Ball that reads 100% for Florida State.
