"He's a consistent mid 4.5 (40-yard dash) guy at 6-4, 220," Wofford said. "In high school, it's hard to match up with him. He's gotten offers everywhere. He's smart and makes all the calls for us (on defense)."

Stinks that he won't be able to see the season play out before his commitment. I just don't see us getting him with how high his mom has been on UF.

Stock rising for 6-foot-5 Maryland receiver Lawrence Cager, who earns Alabama offer after big camp performance
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Lawrence Cager's size and speed stood out at Alabama's prospect camp last week.
Cager earned an offer from Alabama at the camp and the 6-foot-5, 210-pound standout from Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md., is high on the Crimson Tide.
"It was exciting," Cager said of getting the offer. "Alabama is a great football program, Coach (Nick) Saban is a great coach. Coach (Lane) Kiffin is a great offensive coordinator. Coach (Billy) Napier is a great wide receivers coach. I love Alabama and it was a great feeling."
Also in the past week, Cager has picked up offers from Tennessee and Kentucky. He's visiting Ohio State for a camp this weekend and could pick up an offer with a strong performance there.
"I think he's got a rare combination of size and athleticism," Calvert Hall head coach Donald Davis said. "He's 6-5, he's 200 pounds and he can run. The way the game is changing, that's something that teams, whether its high school, college or NFL, sees you as valuable. That's a valuable skill set that makes him an extremely versatile and dangerous player.
"He really wasn't, when I say their radar, on the board there (at Alabama). I don't think he was on the board before."

Cager was certainly one of the top performers at the Alabama camp. He's a 3-star recruit in the 247Sports composite (all the services combined), but is likely to jump up in future rankings. 247Sports has Cager ranked No. 151 nationally. Rivals has Cager as a 3-star and so does Scout and ESPN.
"I feel like I dominated," Cager said. "I didn't drop any balls in the 1-on-1 or 7-on-7. Coach Napier said he loved how I used my body and for a big guy, how I get downfield, drop my hips, get out of my breaks and use my getaway speed, length and stride and break away from the defenders."
Cager said Ohio State was his favorite school growing up, but he won't commit right away if he's offered. He said he doesn't plan on committing before his senior season, but anything could change with recruiting. He hopes to commit midway through the season, after the season or at a postseason All-American game if he gets an invite.
"I would never commit right away to a school," Cager said. "I'm going to talk about it with my family. It's not as much my decision, it's a family decision, so I wouldn't commit to a school right now."
Cager said he didn't have a list of top schools. Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Maryland have offered since June. Rutgers, which offered in April, is heavily in the mix.
"Most definitely, if I had to make a list, they would be there, but I don't have a list," Cager said of Alabama. "They definitely are highly regarded in my mind."
Cager hasn't set his official visits yet, but will determine that after talking to his parents. As a junior, Cager caught 50 passes for 580 yards and seven touchdowns.

According to the inside info I just seen between AT and a UF reporter he ain't coming. He said him and Rohan Smith (spelling) another LB out of Georgia are going to the same school but Smith can't commit early because he wants to pull a baby gator out at signing day. This was straight from AT finger tips in a message that was screen shot by the UF reporter.
Pretty dirty of the reporter putting his info out there like that if you ask me. They do it to all of there targets though

Pretty much everyone but Adonis Thomas thinks Roquan Smith is a lean to UGA. Plus, probably 95% of non-family package deals don't work out. It's usually just talk, and prospects pick their favorite for themselves when the time comes.

Package deals usually never work out anyway.
