The LSUrb thread on Shyheim Carter committing to Bama is currently at seven pages. Pretty impressive for a recruit that they didn't want.

Per Newberg (FSU mod) Fitzpatrick has been in contact with FSU staff after The Opening and may visit them this week.
Frick that noise.
Frick that noise.

I'm starting to think that his commitment isn't as firm as I once believed it was.

Alabama landed its second commitment for the Class of 2016 Tuesday when Shyheim Carter pledged to the Crimson Tide, according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot, 185-pounder is ranked as the nation's No. 1 cornerback in the 247Sports Composite. He also holds offers from Clemson, Georgia, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Texas A&M and Tulane.
LSU has also shown heavy interest in Carter. Check out this analysis from recruiting reporter James Smith of NOLA.com:
"Carter is one of the most versatile prospects in this year's class. Most prospects who play a bunch of positions can do a little bit of everything, but aren't capable of doing anything that well, while Carter brings about some technique at multiple positions. He has tremendous speed, lateral quickness and will likely play at more than 200 pounds at the next level due to his thick build.
"Free safety may ultimately be his best position, but he is extremely dangerous as a running back, as well. If he can stay lean and not bulk up too much, he has the attributes needed to play cornerback. The offers are starting to trickle in for this future national recruit from the town that brought us years of great water and the one and only Britney Spears."
The Tide landed a commitment from fellow 2016 prospect Benito Jones on Sunday.

It's not IMO. Awhile back I made a tier of players' commitments and I did not put him on the highest tier for that reason.
For some reason we continue to pursue more than enough dbs, and I could see him getting concerned about depth and looking elsewhere. If he goes to FSU right after Bama it would be a blow to our momentum with him, as anything we may have gained during his visit might get lost.
