Also interesting that Barnett was Kiffin's first quarterback offered after Town's decommitment. Really showed where he was on our board even though he was committed to Notre Dame.
I also like that Bama wasn't Barnett's backup plan as it was for Waller, but the one he chose when he could've gone almost anywhere.

Hard to believe that just a few weeks ago we were talking about not even taking a QB. Saban/Kiffin is a recruiting duo that should be feared.

Petitbon and Mackenzie don't like each other, that was obvious when watching their drills. Petitbon kept going after Mackenzie after every play and had to be separated by coaches.

Watched several videos of OL vs DL 1on1s from The Opening. Lester Cotton was phenomenal. I think he only lost 1 out of about 15 reps I saw. Additionally, he made it look almost effortless. He beat some guys using power and other guys by utilizing surprisingly quick feet.
I was also impressed with Darryl Williams. He looked comparable to Petitbon and a little better than Warmack
Was not impressed with Payne or Settle though I might be expecting a bit too much in the way of moves from big DTs

Cotton could not handle Payne's bull rush 2 out 3 times last night in the one on one's. Payne looked a lot quicker and stronger last night than he did earlier in the week.

Yeah I remembered Payne beating Cotton in the finals once last night but couldn't find video of it online this morning. Surprising because Cotton was so dominant throughout the rest of the competition while Payne bull rushed every rep with only limited success

I was surprised as well. Cotton, Pettibon and, to a lesser extent Warmack, all looked top notch this week.
