I got to talking to him about how it all went down last year with CJ changing his mind all of a sudden to go to Ole Miss. I asked him about why he thinks it happened, and he said he believes there were a couple of negative things said to CJ from an Alabama player during that trip. Calvin (CJs dad) also said he thinks that the same person also talked to Matt Elam and he thinks that may have ultimately cost us our chance at Matt as well. Said that the decision to go to Ole Miss was razor thin tight and UA had him all but wrapped up until that visit. Calvin had nothing but nice things to say about UA but everything changed for CJ when he got home from that visit. He said he wanted the decision to be CJs and he would support it during the process. After I talked about the all star game and his UA visit with him he said CJ is likes Oxford and should get some PT this year. Nothing earth shattering but figured yall might wanna know what was going down that caused some of the decisions made.

Lester Cotton is a friend/former teammate of Terry Beckner Jr. Cotton lived in E St. Louis until he moved in high school. Cotton says he is going to be recruiting Beckner Jr. to Bama at the Opening.
