I live down here and go to almost every game, he isn't that good right now. Has tools but nothing to jump into the PM wagon.

Top 5 SEC Recruiting Battles:
LINK
Looks like we are in all five of them, but I can't imagine us coming out with more than Daron Payne. Thoughts?
quote:
1. Trent Thompson, DT, Albany (Ga.)
POTENTIAL COLLEGES: Georgia, FSU, Michigan State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Tennessee
NATIONAL RANK: No. 2 overall prospect
THE SKINNY: It would be hard to see Thompson leave the state of Georgia, but stranger things have happened. He has the frame to be a dominant tackle at the next level–and quickly.
2. Martez Ivey, OL, Apopka (Fla.)
POTENTIAL COLLEGES: Florida, Alabama, South Carolina
NATIONAL RANK: No. 6
THE SKINNY: Ivey is a tremendous offensive tackle at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds, with room to add good weight. Florida’s the team to watch here, but if they struggle this fall, Alabama may be one to keep an eye on.
3. George Campbell, ATH, Tarpon Springs (Fla.)
POTENTIAL COLLEGES: Florida, FSU, Clemson, Michigan, Alabama, Kentucky, Mizzou
NATIONAL RANK: No. 7
THE SKINNY: Whether you put Campbell at wide receiver or defensive back, this 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete can make an impact. The Gators are a team to watch here, but if they struggle this year, it could open up.
4. Daron Payne, DT, Birmingham (Ala.)
POTENTIAL COLLEGES: Alabama, Auburn.
NATIONAL RANK: No. 8
THE SKINNY: Payne is going to be one of those classic Alabama-Auburn recruiting battles, with the Crimson Tide looking like the program with the upper hand at this point. He’s 6-foot-2, 315 pounds.
5. Kendall Sheffield, DB, Missouri City (Texas)
POTENTIAL COLLEGES: Texas A&M, Texas, Alabama, Florida, LSU
NATIONAL RANK: No. 9
THE SKINNY: It’s hard to see Sheffield leaving the state of Texas, and with the early playing time looking available at Texas A&M, one has to think that’s where he’ll end up. Time will tell

I feel like I am looking at a Highlights magazine from when I was a kid where you had to circle what doesn't belong in the picture.
I think CNS could flip off the media at every press conference, win four games next year, get a low ranked recruiting class, and still maintain his job.

Nick Saban
7 year, 74–15 (.831)
All-time record 74–15 (.831)
Postseason bowl record 5–2 (.714)
National titles 3
Conference titles 2
Division titles 3
Heisman winners 1
28 1st team All Americans; 10 Consensus & 9 Unanimous
33 players taken in draft; 14 in the 1st round
Not counting all the other individual awards earned by Bama players under Coach Saban.
And according to Rivals, Saban has signed 6 #1 recruiting classes.

I think its funny that the rules committee is suggesting changing the substitution rule and some LSU fans are going crazy. I guess their logic is, if we can't beat Bama we need someone to.
Posted on 2/12/14 at 8:36 pm to MontyFranklyn
I think the rule change is smart, but I think an easier to enforce rule change instead of a time limit would be that if you substitute on offense you have to huddle. If you want to go HUNH go as fast as you want with the same 11 guys.

Is there any way to see HaHa on Sportsnation from earlier?
