UGA's 247 recruiting staff are less reporter, more football coach.

It isn't always worded very well, but their info is really good.

They say it's close on Harris and are downplaying the Warmack stuff, fwiw

You think this screws us over with him? Sounds like he may be favoring UGA.

I don't think it necessarily screws us. Yeah Murray was drafted higher than AJ and they had Stafford go #1 overall, but it's not like they have a bunch of QBs in the league tearing shite up.

David Greene, DJ Shockley and Joe Cox don't exactly scream "QB factory" to me.

As for favoring Georgia he doesn't have any CBs for them so none of the analysts feel he is leaning to them, at least not yet.

Drake is a as good as Bush was at USC. Will use him this year like Bush was used at USC. Drake is currently doing all the things he needs to do to stay in the coaches good graces

Not sure he's as good as Bush, but hopefully he maintains a role.

OJ Howard is a freak. Play was limited last year because he didnt know how to run routes. Getting much better at it now.

No one in CFB will be able to cover him.

Coop and Foster are the best wr combo he has ever worked with

Lee and Woods tho

Hasnt had much contact with Coker yet. Wont really get to work with him too much until fall camp

Then he'll craft him into a champion.

Sims will have a package if he isnt the starter

Expected.

Wait, did he really say this stuff?

Harris is talking about announcing next weekend, not this coming weekend. He's scheduled to visit Alabama on June 5th and 6th and then will announce shortly after.

Jake Rowe is new. They just hired him away from Rivals. I haven't seen enough to judge him one way or the other, but he's very popular with UGA folks.

1 freaking pick higher...and had McCarron not listened to his dumbass agent and not skipped the Senior Bowl in Mobile, he likely goes 2nd round to the Pats where they picked Garoppolo

Free article from Dawg247 that has some very telling quotes in it from recruits:

LINK

quote:

Who is one player you like to play with on the next level?

Ben Cleveland..”Isaac Nauta”

Greg Little..”Christian Kirk, Kyler Murray or Ben Cleveland”

Cole Minshew..”Jameis Winston”

Terry Godwin..”Todd Gurley”

Jayson Stanley..”Nobody Particular”

Adonis Thomas..”Roquan Smith and Mike Horton”

Roquan Smith..”Adonis Thomas”

Rashad Roundtree..”My teammates”

Darius Slayton..”Quenton Meeks”

Derrick Brown..”Ashton Barnes”

Jackson Harris..”Josh Smith or Jeb Blazevich”

Someone needs to tell Terry Godwin that Gurley is going to the NFL after this season.

quote:

What is one game you would like to see in person next season?

Ben Cleveland..”Probably the Iron Bowl”

Greg Little..”LSU vs Bama or Alabama vs A&M”

Cole Minshew..”Florida vs Florida State”

Terry Godwin..”Georgia vs Bama”

Jayson Stanley..”National Championship Game”

Adonis Thomas..”Bama vs UF”

Roquan Smith..”USC vs UCLA”

Rashad Roundtree..”Iron Bowl”

Darius Slayton..”Iron Bowl or LSU vs Bama”

Micah Abernathy..”Alabama Auburn game”

Derrick Brown..”No doubt the Iron Bowl”

Jackson Harris..”Alabama-Auburn”

Somebody also needs to tell Terry Godwin that Alabama doesn't play Georgia this season.

With Hale Hentges now committed, am I the only one who would rather have Clarington or Gragg instead of Jackson Harris ?

Congrats on landing Hale Hentges

Gragg's highlights give me the meh. I'd love to get Clarington, but just don't see him leaving Florida.

Clarington is a better passcatcher, but Harris seems to be a perfect Y TE for Bama's offense.

Funny to say it coming of the heels of him being invited to the Opening, but I've seen several people lose interest in the prospects of Gragg.

I know a few Arky fans aren't that enthralled with him, saying he'd make a better tackle than TE for them.

Has anybody been able to find actual film on him? Besides the 37 second video I have linked on the first page.
