His dad seems pretty cool. I think a certain other recruit's dad who posts on message boards could learn a thing or two from him.
Maybe it's just me, but judging from that certain man's posts, it seems like his son has no other choice but to go where his daddy wants him to.

Keihl fraziers dad used to post on auburneagle. That must have gotten awkward for a while

Anyone want to read some good old fashioned hypocrisy? LINK
Why is it Saban's fault that some of our draftees "bust" in the league, but it's not Miles' fault if their many 5* turn out to be busts.

They're not very smart.
I want so bad to post that Bama's 3rd string DEs are gonna be better than their starters.

Back to David Sills, he may not have the strongest arm (it's kinda weak actually), but he has impeccable mechanics. Kid looks like a NFL QB with his throwing motion. The ball just doesn't come out very fast.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, he reminds me of a more athletic Greg McElroy. I think if we landed him he's not ranked high enough to scare off an elite 2016 guy so we could continue the mantra of "Take a QB in every class" and still be ok for next year.
The beauty of all these highly ranked California QBs in this class is that they all commited to PAC-12 schools so Jacob Eason probably won't want to follow any of them.

Charles Power just posted a story on BOL regarding our options at QB for this class.
He mentioned Travis Waller, Quinten Dormady, David Sills and Deondre Francis as guys to keep an eye on.

David Sills got 3 CBs yesterday. One to Alabama, one to West Virginia and one to Hawaii. Plus he's still committed to USCw.
Basically no one knows what the frick this kid is going to do.

I could see a QB choosing WVU with that offense over Bama, but Hawaii????

Alabama wide receivers coach Billy Napier will be in the Tampa area today checking on top wide receivers George Campbell (Tarpon Springs/East Lake), Deon Cain (Tampa Bay Tech), and Nate Craig (Tampa Catholic) per 247Sports National Recruiting Insider, Ryan Bartow. All three pass catchers hold offers from the Tide.
Campbell, who ranks as the no. 17 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, has a Crystal Ball that leans towards Florida. Cain's Crystal Ball is split between FSU (58%), Florida (33%), and Clemson (8%). Craig, who is a 2016 prospect, has picks in for Ohio State (58 %) Auburn (33%), and Michigan State (8%).

What do you think about Dormady TS?
No junior film, but he looks a little excited in the pocket in his sophomore film. He also looks like a taller Clint Trickett weighing about 150lbs soaking wet.

I like him. He's ranked #172 overall right now and was in the top 150 before his injury.
He's performed well in camps so far this offseason.
I wish there was more film of him though.

Minkah Fitzpatrick is a 5-star cornerback from New Jersey who is among the top athletes in the country at his position.
Fitzpatrick, who is 6'0" and 185 pounds, has been timed as low as 3.87 in the short-shuttle drill, per Student Sports. That is a remarkable time, as it shows how explosive and quick Fitzpatrick is. He moves well in space, plus he has the strength to press receivers at the line.
Getting on the field at Alabama is awfully tough for a young recruit, but Fitzpatrick's athleticism may help him play early as a true freshman.

Watching Malik Jefferson move around on tape is a sight to see. The 5-star linebacker is a rare athlete for his position, plus he has great instincts and vision.
The Texas native is already 6'2" and 225 pounds, but he will likely add 15-20 more pounds in college. Jefferson has excellent movement skills in space, and he is explosive in everything he does. Whether it is as an outside or inside linebacker, look for Jefferson's athletic ability to help him contribute immediately when he gets to college.
Alabama and Texas A&M are his top schools, according to 247Sports.

Among the most gifted offensive line prospects athletically in recent memory, Martez Ivey will be an elite left tackle at the next level.
The 6'6", 270-pounder has the athleticism of a receiver. Ivey bends naturally at the knees, which helps him explode out of his stance at the snap. He doesn't have any issues settling in space as a blocker, plus he can get to linebackers on the second level.
Ivey's quick feet, agility and balance can be seen on full display when he works against pass-rushers to protect the quarterback. If you ever want to see what an athletic offensive lineman looks like, it is highly suggested you watch Ivey play.
Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Auburn are his top suitors, per 247Sports.

With a SPARQ Rating of 138.84, Kirk Merritt is one of the nation's top overall athletes. The 4-star running back also can get the job on the perimeter as a receiver.
Merritt, who is from Louisiana, is 5'11" and 206 pounds. He runs a 4.1 short-shuttle drill, and his vertical jump is nearly 46 inches, according to Student Sports. Merrit is a quicker-than-fast athlete who can accelerate on the field thanks to a fantastic burst.
Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU, TCU and Texas Tech are among his top schools, says 247Sports.

Damien Harris
Size: 5'11", 205 pounds
School: Madison Southern High School
What Makes Him Ready
Damien Harris has dominated in high school, tallying 5,141 total rushing yards and 88 touchdowns through three seasons. He displays the physical makeup and downfield vision to demand an abundance of early carries at the next level.
His balanced approach features power and elite acceleration. Harris, who gained a career-best 2,621 yards in 2013, wears teams down over the course of a game and looks a step ahead when the fourth quarter arrives.
Recruiting Update
Harris initially committed to Michigan last July, but he backed off that pledge during the winter. Kentucky hopes to keep its top target at home, while Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and Alabama are among those who aim to lure him beyond state borders.

DeSherrius Flowers
Size: 6'1", 212 pounds
School: Vigor High School
What Makes Him Ready
Desherrius Flowers dismantles opponents with a violent rushing style that features brute force and top-tier acceleration, leaving defenders in his wake. He can find himself in a race to the end zone with one cut, as he fires off his back foot with ferocity.
He powers through crowds and keeps his legs churning, displaying the key attributes of a goal-line back. Few rushers in this class measure up to Flowers' tackle-breaking ability.
Recruiting Update
Alabama landed the in-state star during his sophomore year. That seems to be an extremely solid commitment, so expect Flowers to follow in line as the next heralded running back prospect in Tuscaloosa.
Why don't people get more excited about this kid?

I'm very excited about Flowers. He seems to have what last year's team lacked. He plays with a swagger and an attitude that he won't be denied.

Love his physicality and toughness, just don't see the quick feet and cutting ability you need to be a top collegiate RB. Hope I'm wrong.
