So true.
I wish my wife would stomach that level of "commitment."
Eta: Not that I really have other "offers."

Article on Deionte Thompson (free)

HOUSTON, Tex. - After an impressive showing on Sunday at the Nike Football Training Camp, Orange (Texas) West Orange Stark safety Deionte Thompson gets the nod for Scout's MVP...
Talent was abundant among the defensive backs at Sunday's Houston Nike Camp and while Manvel (Texas) safety Deontay Anderson picked up Nike MVP honors, it was Orange (Texas) West Orange Stark safety Deionte Thompson that stood out as Scout's overall MVP, regardless of position.
"It's just a privilege. I'm very blessed," he said upon being told of the accomplishment. "I came out here and competed and gave it my all; I just tried to come out on top."
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Alabama commit also picked up another big award on Sunday: an invitation to Nike's The Opening in July.
"It's just a step closer to the college level. The guys I'm going to out there and compete with are the best of the best. It's just a blessing that I was chosen to compete with them," he said.
Thompson, who is ranked as Scout's #2 safety, also enjoyed the opportunity to sharpen his skills with the encouragement of some top coaches.
"I feel like I got better with my press coverage today and I played very well. My coverage skills were acceptable for today," he said.
National recruiting analyst Greg Powers, who had the opportunity to watch Thompson compete on Sunday, came away impressed by the four-star safety.
"Thompson is a rangy defender at safety. He may be best suited to play free safety in college because of his superior coverage skills. He is able to lock down receivers like a cornerback.
"He will be able to patrol the deep middle and limit SEC offenses in the vertical passing game over the middle of the field once he gets to Alabama," said Powers.

Good. I was worried he would not be able to visit Starkville after committing to us.

I don't think UA has anything to worry about with Brown and Georgia, if this is the case. Not that they necessarily did anyway, but I know he's been visiting other schools.

Yeah I'm starting to think Mekhi might visit every SEC school before February. He's still recruiting for us a lot.
There were also some tweets at Adonis Thomas telling him to commit to Bama. I think Mekhi is fairly solid, but this is recruiting and anything can happen.

Hmm... I don't think Dallas would be committed to Bama right now if his last name wasn't Warmack. JMO.

Article on Cece Jefferson:

Five-star 2015 defensive end CeCe Jefferson of Glen St. Mary (Fla.) Baker County visited Alabama last week and came away impressed.
“They stood out to me," Jefferson told 247Sports after watching the Crimson Tide practice on Wednesday "Coach (Nick) Saban is a cool guy, as I thought he would be. Their facilities are top notch and Alabama is a real fun place to be and I’ll definitely be going back there.”
Jefferson (6-2, 250), the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and No. 7 overall prospect in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite, followed up the visit with a trip to the school believed to be his clear favorite, Florida. He said Gators defensive line coach Brad Lawing told him he's a priority in UF's 2015 class.
“He’s telling me they are going to come after me hard,” Jefferson told 247Sports. "They like to get after the quarterback and all the guys are relentless, kind of how I am, and I feel I can fit in here.”
He was joined on the Florida visit by another Crimson Tide defensive end target, five-star Seffner (Fla.) Armwood defensive end Byron Cowart.

Excerpts from Josh McMillon article:
Things that make you say hmm...

A commitment could be in the near future for Whitehaven linebacker Joshua McMillon of Memphis, Tenn., and both Alabama and Auburn are in the running.
The 6-foot-3, 241-pounder took part in last weekend's Nike Football Training Camp in Hoover before making an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa. He also plans on visiting Auburn soon.
"I love them both," he said. "The facilities are great, engineering programs are great, the relationships they have with my parents and myself... the environment is great."
McMillon now holds 15 offers, but hears from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Michigan, Ohio State and Memphis the most.
"It really doesn't matter where (I commit) as I'm at as long as I fit in and do something to help the team get a national championship," he said.
"I'm taking the process one day at a time and when the moment comes to make a decision, I'll make it."
McMillon is the nation's No. 13 outside linebacker prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite. (247Sports)
In March, McMillon told AL.com he plans to commit next month, but said last week it could be pushed to the end of the summer. He is set to visit both Michigan and Ohio State this weekend.
He plans to study engineering and said academics will be the most important factor in his decision, followed by the school's football program and whether he feels its a "home away from home."
After his trip to Tuscaloosa, McMillon told 247Sports he enjoyed speaking with head coach Nick Saban, receivers coach Billy Napier, linebackers coach Kevin Steele and current Tide linebacker Shaun Hamilton.
"It feels like a home down there," he said. "Overall, it feels great down there. Coach Napier hits me on Twitter every other day, if not every day. We talk about trying to get me down there. He's trying to make sure I keep them in mind and make sure they're in the mix."
Whitehaven head coach Rodney Saulsberry estimates McMillon racked up 85 tackles (25 for loss), 12 sacks and three interceptions last season.
