Terry Godwin said that he might go to G day, but he will definitely go to A day. He also said everyone is in it (for his recruitment), but he's committed to UGA 100%.
I wonder if 100% committed is the kiss of death for them like it seems to be for us.

FWIW, Charles Power sort of shot down the rumor of Fitzpatrick commmiting at A-Day. He did say that Alabama was in very good shape, but that Minkah has said he was looking to commit later this summer.

Seeing as most of our QB targets are off the board, I've decided I want Quinten Dormady the most out of who's left. He was a Top 150 prospect before injuring his shoulder playing baseball (sliding into second base) which caused him to miss his Junior year.
I'm going to post the latest info on him over the next few minutes. He was offered by Houston a couple weeks ago. If he doesn't commit before the summer he has said he will come to our camp to throw in person. Remember, he hasn't played in over 18 months so nobody has recent film on him. That could work in our favor in the end.

Boerne 2015 signal caller Quinten Dormady has been no stranger to the Texas program recently. The 6-foot-4, 208-pound quarterback took in junior day a few weeks ago and then visited two separate times last week.
“I’m just trying to build and keep a relationship with the Texas staff,” Dormady said. “They’re interested in me and I’m interested in them. That’s the big thing for me.”
The three-star prospect has yet to receive an offer from the Longhorns. He’s hoping one comes in the near future.
“They haven’t really said anything about an offer quite yet,” said Dormady. “You kind of get the sense of who’s interested in you and who’s not, you know? I know they’re interested in me and they feel comfortable with me. It’s the same for me with them. So they haven’t came out and said they’re going to offer, but I feel like one could come down the line. I would really like that.”
Dormady actually picked up his first offer this past weekend, as the Houston Cougars offered him late Saturday evening. (Munroe)

The Longhorns' quarterback take likely won't be Murray, but Quinten Dormady wouldn't be a bad take if he wound up being the guy. I thought he threw it just was well as Jarrett Stidham, especially considering Dormady is working his way back from a rotator cuff tear.
His velocity and pure arm strength looks like it's there. It just seems like he's a little rusty making some of the big-time throws he made when he tore it up for Boerne back in 2012.
If Texas stays on Dormady and he shows the same form he did as a sophomore, he could be the type of guy Shawn Watson is hoping to find. If nothing else, Dormady is going to make Watson's decision on when to push for a commitment from someone tough if he keeps progressing in his return to the field.

If the Longhorns want an in-line tight end then Will Gragg (Pine Bluff, Ark.) could be their man. He's not a wide receiver who is trying to move to the outside and doesn't appear to have a desire to play out wide, he's the real deal as a pass catcher who knows how to play with his hand in the dirt.

The nation’s No. 2-ranked tight end, Will Gragg (Pine Bluff, Ark.) recently took in a trip to Texas. It left quite an impression on the 6-foot-4, 245-pound four-star prospect.
“It was awesome,” Gragg said. “Seriously, awesome. Getting to meet Coach (Bruce) Chambers, my tight ends coach, Coach (Charlie) Strong and those guys was great. I got to see every aspect of Texas football and man, that’s a lot. Texas football is like larger than life. It’s huge. It’s a whole new thing compared to elsewhere. I loved it.”
Even though he was a state away from home, Gragg felt like he was back in Pine Bluff.
“You expect a place like Texas to just be so big and everyone doing their own thing,” he said. “That’s not how it was. I felt like I was right at home. The players, the coaches and all those guys make you feel like family. I felt like I’ve known them all my life. That was great. It stood out more than anything. Just being so comfortable felt so good. Everything was just awesome.”
The highly sought after prospect now holds 28 offers from many of the nation’s top programs, but says he has absolutely no clue on what he wants to do at this time.
“I have no idea,” Gragg said while laughing. “Man that’s way too many options. I never thought I’d have so many choices. I know I want to narrow it down sometime soon to a small group. Maybe like five or seven or ten or something. I really don’t know. I guess you could say I have six or seven that are really standing out to me right now. I just can’t say who yet.”
Are the Longhorns in that small group?
“I’ll go ahead and say yes,” Gragg told Horns247. “I’ll give that one up. They are definitely in there for me, I just don’t want to say who else yet. But, yes, Texas is right there at the top.”

He looks good. Any idea on if he wants to play offense or defense in college?
Posted on 4/8/14 at 10:47 am to TideSaint
He is open to playing either offense or defense. He looks very good on both sides of the ball for the number of offers he has received. Looks like his recruitment needs a little more exposure...

He needs to hit up as many camps as possible. Is he interested in leaving the state?

Yes. From what I have been told, he wants to play in the SEC.

Get word to him to come to Bama's camp this summer. That's the best way to get an offer.
