Grown men. Football players. Instinctive. Great angles. Good form tackles. Great in coverage. Getting off blocks. In the right holes. MAKING PLAYS.

Finally. Bama has two MFBA's in the middle again, and they are both true freshmen, and they are only going to get better. Last year was so bad I forgot how much fun it was to watch superior ILB play.

Cheers.

Really proud of both of them.

I watched Lee a little closer than Harris and he looked quick and instinctive.

We might be ok after all.

Yes sir. Harris looks good to be a new linebacker. Lee is a hoss.

I think if we're comparing them when Dylan Moses had to come in as an underclassman when starters got hurt, I think they are a lot further along. All due respect to Dylan, I think Harris and Lee are a different class of LB comparatively in their freshman years compared to Moses in his freshman year.

I think physically they are further along.
But more importantly they are getting there mentally and they are more instinctive.

Harris was already pushing for playing time before Mcmillon went down.

Didn't look like true freshman at all. I think all the fans who were thinking Alabama was going to be soft in the middle are currently puckered in the seat area a bit.

Even held them when they ran triple option decently.

Immediately after the game reporter ask Coach:

"how did your defense keep them out of the endzone today ?"

first thing coach says:

"I was really pleased with how the young linebackers played"

I thought both played extremely well and exceeded my expectations! Both are physical vs the run and did great in coverage to be freshmen.

They will still make a mistake here and there and good coaches will scheme them into some errors but DAYUM! Them boys are some headhunters! Very pleasant surprise yesterday. They were more than solid, they were exciting to watch and really a strong point on a revived badass defense
