They said there would be no shuffling amongst those that don't play. That is different.

The ESPN guy kept probing him trying to see if 'Bama specifically could drop out. About as subtle as a kick in the face. Sounded to me like 'Bama isn't dropping no matter what happens.

I guess we'll see for sure on Sunday, though.

So either game would be at an Indiana city?

Doing the math truly makes you realize what a stupid system this is fwiw...

- SMU/Clemson get a bye, and Boise with a win would get a bye. UNLV would not get a bye
- Big Ten loser probably drops to 5, which would actually be #6 in the seeding, but if Penn State loses, they could drop below Ohio State
- Notre Dame is probably locked into the 5 seed, despite finishing at #3, unless Oregon loses

I fricking hate it, but probably UGA so that if SMU loses they'll be able to say that we beat our conference's champ and they didn’t as a potential tiebreaker. Ultimately I don't think it matters though and we are in regardless of who wins the ACC.

What would happen if Penn St beats Oregon

They probably just switch spots. So PSU would be 5 or 6 and Oregon goes there.

Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they've been known to pick a song or two

Never doubted we were in after Miami lost to Syracuse.

I’m ready to get banned from Reddit again if we make it in.

Tons of great melts on r/cfb. But weirdly enough their OWN reddit poll has Bama no.12 over USC and Ole Miss
