Georgia is the best defense in the country. I feel pretty strongly about that. They are the most diverse and deepest at all 3 levels and are well-coached.

Clemson has a pretty good front 4, but they have the same linebackers that were abused by LSU last year and their secondary is young. We would light them up.

However, they'd light us up to the same extent if not more.

I genuinely don't think clemson measures up at all to past defenses when I just see some of the players they have out there. Theyre getting some good results against some terrible offenses. But im confident we score 40 plus against them. Now the idea of tackling etienne or getting a scrambling lawrence down? Equally confident we can't do that lol

If we play Clemson I think Clemson's defense will be resistant for a while. But, we would wear them down.

I like how somehow waddle hasn't graded well once this year according to pff.

Where are you seeing that?

A thing they pointed out, that I didn't notice, was we kept Hellams in when Battle got back for the 2nd half, and Wright spent some time on the sidelines.

Interesting.

Haven't seen waddle in any of the top graded bama players from any game this year

Except for Hellam's costly mistake that got him beat for a TD pass, and a similar mistake where he got beat for sizeable completion, it appeared to me that he played pretty well.

Per their grades, the top 5 SEC WR with at least 13 targets

1. DeVonta Smith (BAMA) (92.1)
2. Elijah Moore (MISS) (89.6)
3. Terrace Marshall Jr (LSU) (89.0)
4. Kadarius Toney (FLA) (86.1)
5. Jaylen Waddle (BAMA) (85.5)

13. John Metchie III (BAMA) (70.5)

Not surprising. Wright won’t/can’t tackle. If the younger guys can, they will be incorporated into the defense more and more. We need all of these guys understanding what to do by the time the SEC CG and playoffs roll around, or we’re in trouble.

The bone crushing hit that Branch (#14) laid on one of the UGA kick returners was one of the brightest spots of the game for me. Need that guy to learn his responsibilities as a safety ASAP.

Our offense is so stinkin’ dynamic, that if our defense can just get to a mediocre level by the post season, that might be enough. Might be.

While he struggles in tackling you simple cannot overlook his nose for the ball. He has good instincts.

I think our advantage for the playoffs is we are starting to establish the run game, which will allow us to control the clock. It also provides better opportunities for our WRs.
