FSU is a really good job. Pretty easy to recruit excellent talent there. And the ACC doesn't have any other really strong brands or programs except for Clemson. Miami has the brand and sits in a hotbed of talent, but they've fallen and can't seem to get back up. A good HC & staff, provided they recruit well, can win 10 games per year pretty consistently at FSU.

Just have to deal with a crazy administration and athletic department

Just one problem: FSU’s facilities have been neglected and they don’t have the money to get them up to Clemson levels. Think Alabama when Mal Moore took over as AD and began raising money to get us up to par. Only FSU doesn’t have the money to spend. It’s not going to be easy for them to catch Clemson.

The gap between Clemson and the rest of the ACC in terms of quality of facilities and amount of resources dedicated to football is enormous. It's easy to say that FSU and Miami can compete with them if they make good hires, but the administrations at both of those schools are going to hamstring whoever that good hire happens to be while if Dabo says "jump", Clemson's administration asks "how high sir?"

I really don't like the Kiffin-Ole Miss hire, worse if he can get Charlie Strong (although that seems unlikely, he better join Bama as DC or take a low-profile HC job somewhere) and Kendall Briles to join him as coordinators...
And we still have to wait at least another year for Jeremy Pruitt to be fired at Tennessee so he can return to Bama as our DC!

According to Brett McMurphy, Arkansas has almost reached a deal to hire Sam Pittman, OL coach and associate head coach at UGA.

Want Pruitt back

With how the season ended even if Pruitt got fired he would probably have another HC job at a smaller school lined up.

At this point Joe Kines needs to be called. He can stop that inside trap.

Missouri about to hire Eli Drinkwitz from Appy State. Real roll of the dice since he’s been a head coach for 1 year and is still living off of Satterfields recruits.

OMG! Telling him that the minute he lands in Oxford? That’s brazen.
