But that's the NFL. Dude's throwing money at strippers thinking they can fix him. Milroe is definitely gonna get paid. But I just don't think he has the intangibles to be fixed, like Hurts did. Hurts was wise above his years. He just need to learn how to put touch on the ball and complete passes at all 3 levels.

Anyone who drafts NILroe in the first round is an idiot.

The ideal thing would be for the Titans to draft him or some other team like that where our rival fans were gifted wins because of how bad he played.

Someone on the more sports board just posted Mel Kiper’s QB list, he has Milroe fourth behind Sanders, Ward and Dart and ahead of Ewers, Howard and McCord.

Just not the year to be in the market for a QB.

A mobile quarterback is the key now in today's NFL.

Hard to call him a mobile QB given how often he takes sacks. Brock Purdy is a more shifty runner than Milroe. Jalen can run like a deer in a straight line when he gets into open space, but how often did that actually happen while he was here? More often than not he was sacked or went down after first contact.

Those are generous numbers. He’s probably got a great 100 yard dash but his 40 will be in the 4.5ish range.

Point taken, but the reason I shared this is that Treposso is not some dweeb sitting in his underwear eating pizza rolls in his mama's basement tweeting or posting on Instagram and TikTok. He's CBS Sports' main NFL draft and young player analyst and used to be an actual NFL beat writer for an actual newspaper. Of course that doesn't mean he's immune from momentary insanity ...

He’s basing it all on Milroe putting up incredible numbers at the combine.
He’s going to have good but not good enough to overcome his total lack of actual QB skills.

Running backs rarely get picked that high in the modern NFL draft.

Obviously the Rec doing the work to buy off analysts and ensure Milroe doesn't have a return to college change of heart

Exactly.

People hear kept making up bullshite stories about him controlling Saban (LOL!) and KDB; the reality is he has so much damn talent he tricks you.

You keep hoping.. hoping the light will click because if the light does come on?

Instantly Milroe is the best player in the country.

It never did though and we paid mightily for it.

So perfectly stated

Milroe is going to show his cannon. He's probably going to be accurate with no pressure coming at him and he is going to put up crazy numbers at the combine.

Some sucker is going to see this and fall for it just like Saban and KDB.

What is actually crazy is if you did draft Milroe to somehere he would sit for like 4 years he may end up being something

The Senior Bowl will be a huge chance for #4

LINK

It’s a big year for the Browns at the Senior Bowl considering they’ll strongly consider a quarterback at No. 2, and some of the top ones will participate, including Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart, and Ohio State’s Will Howard.

Hurts, Jalen

His first season was worse than Milroe. His second season saw him benched in the national championship game and lose his starting job.

Dan Enos figured out which switches to flip And the rest is history.

Milroe has the physical ability. The odds of someone finding the right switch to flip at the NFL level are incredibly low and most certainly not worth a first round draft pick much less the second overall, but they aren’t zero. He’s a good guy, I hope it happens for him, but there’s no planet where I would use anything higher than a fourth or fifth round pick to find out if it will happen.
