I feel like we actually did a good job of picking up their blitz and pass rush like last time, initially, but it seems like Georgia did a much better job of getting off of blocks and pushing us back after we picked it up.

This was one of those weird games where I feel like we played good enough to win and didn't really get dominated anywhere, position group wise. We just had more missteps than Georgia and they took advantage of it. This was a fantastic game and both teams definitely deserved to be in the championship.

1. These are two completely different situations. The first time I was obnoxious, I agree. I was talking about a game that had not been played yet. This is after a game. I’ve heard way too many fans say if Bryce wouldn’t have thrown picks or if Bryce would’ve run more we would’ve won. That’s just wrong. Bryce played as well as someone could with the team we had.
2. I never called anyone a dumbass. I probably should’ve but I didn’t. I just said they do no understand football.
3. I went too hard in the paint before the game but we had a ton of fans who were not confident at all. I equate that to the same issue we have at most of our games. Our fans are spoiled. They only get loud on big 3rd downs and they only have confidence when we have an obviously better team than we did the previous year.
4. I’m not saying for 100% certainty that if williams was still in the game we blow them out but if was a very real possibility. The offense was starting to click before he got hurt and Bryce threw 3 passes to his backups that were likely TDs if he’s the one being thrown the ball.

Agreed - I thought, relative to their season long performance, the OL played ok. Georgia definitely had a better scheme than game 1 and executed it very well, but with that said Bryce had some time to throw and we ran the ball sporadically.

As has been repeated, we had opportunities even with JaMo's injury, we just dropped them (pardon the pun).

I think anyone who watched the game saw those same things. Our receivers failed.

Agreed but I don’t think you can blame them. You have to blame BoB for not calling better games durning the season that would’ve lead to more blowouts and more opportunities. I think we can also blame Higgins for picking the wrong WR combos. Hall should’ve been starting over Holden all year. Had Hall had more snaps the drops probably don't happen.

Here was my take before the game
quote:

My take... #18 ,19, 81 will be the key to the game on offense. If they play well it will take some pressure of of the O-line and will also open things up on the outside for #1 & 7. On defense, front 7 play. Slow the run game and keep Bennet in the pocket. Hands up and hit him so he starts letting his passes go too early.

If Alabama does both of those they have a comfortable win. They only do 1 of those, close game and too close to call. They miss on both of those and UGA beats them.

I thinks that take hit the nail on the head.#18 had a good game. #19 sucked arse. #81 some good some bad. That suggested at best a pick-em game.

The D did what they were supposed to do until about 8 minutes left in the game then the wheels came off. Alabama lost control of their running game and their QB started gaining confidence. They kicked Bama's arse those last 8 minutes.

You nailed it dude. I still can’t believe what a useless piece or garbage Billingsly was in the game.

How in the frick can you blame anything on one coach.
You obviously dont watch our games very closely. The blame game changes every week on this board from coaches to players. Do I need to make you a list? I would be a long one. If I were going to blame anyone, it would be the player who looked like he was intentionally trying to throw the game.
