Yep. Somewhere in a Louisiana swamp.

The injury hex on our LBs started after we pulled Moses and Allen from LA.

we've had the same s&c coach for like a decade. We were not unusually injury prone until last year

I'm talking about more than Cochran and Bama. I'm talking about college football wide. There seems to be a rash of ACL injuries in recent years.

I think its a combination of two things: Players are bigger and faster and theyre playing in space more. That is not why everyone gets injured, but it certainly allows for more opportunities. Not to mention there are more plays run, therefore more chances to get injured.

The offense definitely needs to carry the team for a couple of months.

Maybe put the LBs in some of that knee stabilizing hardware like the OL wears.

It’s not just more common at Bama alone. The NFL acl injuries have also escalated.

Someone with computer savvy do Oprah "You get a black no contact jersy...". The whole defense should wear them at this point

Report: Georgia 5-star RB Zamir White suffers torn ACL (SDS)
quote:

Georgia freshman RB Zamir White went down with a non-contact injury during Saturday’s scrimmage, and according to the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer, White suffered a torn ACL in his left knee.

White tore his right ACL during high school last November, and he was just about to make it back to 100 percent when Saturday happened. White was covering a punt on special teams when he went down, Kirby Smart said Saturday...

I think - too - that players’ leg strength may be too much for the ligaments.

I dunno...something is up.

My favorite commitment.
Any word how he’s looking on returns?

I don't think it's anything the staff is doing wrong. If anything I think until last year we were actually fairly lucky. The fact that it just keeps decimating our linebacking corps is a little weird but Looking at the NFL they seem to have the same problem keeping linebackers healthy. They used to just play downhill against the run but today they expect these big men to cover receivers in space.

The only answer is to just keep recruiting more of them so we will have enough.

Ok so here are notes:

We have two good kickers
Delong had 1 bad punt but a few 50+ yards

Tua is still awesome
Jalen did much better but had a pick 6

OL looks solid
DL looks solid

Waddle looks really really good, I think he’s in the rotation and is electric on punts

Surtain is your starting nickel at this point

Josh Jacobs had a great day his ankle and shoulder seem fine now he took a good pop

Obviously you know about the injury

Smith seemed fine was jumping around and all that later on

I have a copy of the depth chart, it’s about what you would expect with OR all over it to hide stuff

I’ll be honest this secondary is pretty damn good, they are fast and hit hard

TE group is very solid I really like James

I’ll be honest folks, minus depth in a few spots this is a super talented team
