Bama starts scoring and pitching takes a dive. Respectable score and best of luck to USC tomorrow. Bama should get a regional but it will be a tough one.

Tennessee Wins Slug Fest to Eliminate Alabama from SEC Tournament (SI)

Alabama couldn't hold on to a four-run lead in the first inning as the Volunteers hit three home runs to advance to the tournament finals.

Any word on Montana?

frick Murphy! That sorry POS is just mailing it in and looks as disinterested in what's going on as someone in the stands. Now that he's rode Montana into the ground, our season will be ending short of OKC again this year, and might not make it to a Super for the second year in a row. He's not evolving, he's not adapting, makes poor decisions and is the sorriest damn hitting coach in the country and refuses to hire anyone better. Someone check his cell phone records to see if he's pulling a Bohannon. I'm tired of his shite, tired of him resting on his fat arse and his laurels of a long ago natty where he caught lightning in a bottle with a generational pitcher in J-Train and better defense to back her up and maybe a smidge more hitting. We've been in a slow, steady decline ever since.

Byrne needs to pull the plug but he's too busy with the baseball fiasco and PR fallout from all the negative news surrounding the department in the last 6 months; he doesn't need another hiring problem on his plate. So Murphy will coast on to another season where, without Montana and an heir apparent, Alabama softball will probably slide into the ranks of the also-rans. Oops, I forgot, he doesn't teach them how to slide either.

Flame away, anyone that doesn't see the obvious decline and fall of the Bama softball empire is wearing Crimson colored glasses and ignoring the fact that the elite teams like OU, Okie State, and a couple of SEC teams are leaving Alabama in the dust.

UT beats USC 3-1 to win the conference tournament .

Bama sitting at 12 in the latest NCAA D1 RPI. Doubt they’ll get seeded that high. Note that Montana is ‘not seeing a specialist’ until Monday. Selection Sunday is tomorrow night at 6 pm.

You are late to the party. This son of a bitch should have been fired years ago. He is responsible for Fouts injury. How can this frick be the face of Bama softball? He never could coach. He rode the perfect storm. Fire him. He prances around like he's untouchable. His arse needs to be fired.

That’s very surprising. But hopefully they can find a way to take advantage.

If Bama makes it out of regionals they’ll face the winner of this regional

In no way, shape, or form is this the 5th best team in the country.

Historical bias and “big money team” preferential treatment are alive and well.

Alabama had a similar season in 2017 and was the 16th seed.
