Losing to an absolutely putrid team right now.

Conference play is going to be rough.

Yep, just glad I didn't see it in person.

Team 27 and the great Murph have now lost to two directional schools. I predict a 500 or worse record in conference play. Fouts is only SEC quality pitcher and her ERA is twice as high as it was last year entering SEC play.

Would love this team with Lexi back. Hell I would take a Goodman back as #2 pitcher

It happens. I remember one season Bama run ruled South Dakota St one night, then lost to them the next day.
That Bama team went to the WCWS.
Alabama's NC team lost to Fordham.

This team gonna need several better bats and another arm to compete for championships.

There are no other arms. Murph has screwed us in the pitching department. It'll be even worse when Montana is gone.

Just here for the downhill slide

Murphy played a different lineup yesterday to give some of the girls valuable experience & opportunities and some of them didn't take advantage of those.
You live and learn but these girls will be fine. Do we need to get better in the pitching department? Yes we do and hopefully these experiences early on will help them.

at this level you are who you are as a pitcher. You get better during the offseason. Torrence and Salter are basically the same as last year. We have not seen enough of Esman yet.

Most definitely not. People make improvements throughout the season so quit with the cap!

you pump sunshine all you wnt but 2 pitchers are in year 3 and have not improved. Fouts is the same so far. Esman has not pitched enough and has room to improve
Hitters will get better or worse as they adapt to hitters at this level. Especially the freshman. But based on last year all the hitters BA went down when we hit SEC play. We only have 6 batteres who have enough AB that are batting 300 and above. I am not sure if stats have updated since yesterday clusterfrisk with only 4 hits.

I don’t know if we have missed ( besides Fouts and Lexi) the last few years but I haven’t seen a pitcher yet that can give Fouts much of a break on SEC Saturday’s
