Great pitching and chit for hitting. Has anyone read this script before?

Sadly, they had opportunities but left runners on base every time.

One SEC series win all year….

Briski throws a complete game (her 3rd of the year). Arkansas scores 1 run on a wild pitch while Bama explodes for 5 runs in the 5th to get a much needed win tonight. A chance to win the series tomorrow.

Good to see the hits tonight. Congrats to Jenna Johnson on her 3-run homer. Keep those hits coming tomorrow, ladies. Need to win the series. RTR!

A five-run fifth inning pushed Alabama softball to a 5-1 win over Arkansas Saturday night at Bogle Park, evening the weekend series to set up a deciding rubber match Sunday.
A first-inning wild pitch put Alabama (31-11, 8-9 SEC) behind Arkansas (31-12, 10-7 SEC) early and the score remained 1-0 until the Crimson Tide broke through in the top of the fifth, with a fielding error and an RBI single from Lauren Johnson giving Alabama the 2-1 lead and a three-run home run from Jenna Johnson adding some cushion to make it 5-1. The Razorbacks only tallied two singles over the final three innings as Jocelyn Briski (7-2) and the Tide defense held on for the four-run win.

Holding this team to 1 run was great. Scoring 5 in one inning was an achievement sense we had no runs the night before. Pitching Beavers today.

5-10 of our last 10 batters struck out. I’m not joking

Going to get run ruled if that can't score in the 5th

Well with UT left and at AU there is a good chance we just win ONE series this year… can’t remember the last time , if ever , it happened

Unfortunately, for Bama, this has been a disaster from the start. Arky scored 7 runs in the first inning. Sadly, Bama is not a good hitting team. Not consistently anyway. Game over. Sad.

Probably about time for Murph to hang it up and let someone else take the reins. My guess is Braud was brought on to start the transition to her as the head coach.
