Oh I'm prepared I just think we get in.

If Ohio State wins a close one, we're in.

Their losses are bad and equivalent to Penn State's last year.

Hopefully the Saints will beat the shite out of Carolina to help the time go by.

We have the best lose of anyone and I think that helps us. But I love how Galloway didnt want to talk about loses and talk about wins because he knows OSU shouldnt be in with that horrible lose.

If we get in after Saturday's performance we should thank our lucky stars.... I don't think are a top 4 team at this point... Hopefully the committee thinks we are.

Yea hopefully Hocutt is just towing the company line by saying teams 5-8 aren’t very different, if not we are screwed unless TCU beats OU.

Glass half full I agree if he said that Alabama had separation between 6-8 that it would cause a shite storm for a week that is totally avoidable by saying what he said instead.

At this point last year head to head and conference championships didn't mean dick.

I doubt they reverse course in a year.

If we don’t get in I think it’s major bullshite and losses 100% don’t mean shite anymore if you have “good wins” or win a conference title. I dunno I just have a bad feeling after reading what Hocutt said on the conference call.

My biggest thing is if OSU passes us with a win. You shouldnt be allowed to lose to any unranked team by 31 points.

Like I said, an OSU win by 1-17 points and I think we're in. They win by 20+ and we are in trouble.

Yea and that would tell coaches and AD’s to just schedule the toughest opponents possible, which we fricking did (FSU). They just did decided to screw us and suck arse this year. Thanks Jimbo haha.

In other words, don’t worry about losses and just try to get good wins by scheduling tough teams and hopefully get lucky enough to play in your conference title game.

What worries me about the OSU game is that they know they need to win big and given the opportunity they could possible try to run up the score late instead of running out the clock to make the win look bigger.

The funny part is everyone has losses up top or losses that are bad.

Auburn lost to Clemson
Auburn lost to LSU
Ohio State lost to Oklahoma
Alabama lost to Auburn
Ohio State lost to unranked Iowa
Clemson lost to unranked Syracuse
Miami lost to unranked Pitt
Oklahoma lost to unranked ISU

Basically I'm worried there's gonna be a washout and they'll just call it for the conference champs.

I hate how they give clemson a pass because the qb went out. Its not like Syracuse is a top rank team of sort or something. I think we could beat them with our backup qb.

I think we could win the Playoffs with our backup QB.

But here's the argument being thrown around by all the talking heads to set this up and justify it: the committee puts more weight on quality wins than one bad losses. Since nobody gives us any credit for undoubtedly breaking FSU, Ohio State probably does have better wins against PSU and Mich. State.

But in my world, beating an excellent PSU team at your place by one point doesn't erase the fact that you got bent over by Oklahoma in your own house, then went on the road and got an historic beatdown from a mediocre 7-5 Iowa team. That's the equivalent of us losing to Kentucky or Texas A&M. By 31 points. Think we'd get a pass?

All. About. Wins.

The SEC and FSU fricked us this year by sucking so bad. Still, we didn’t do ourselves any favors by struggling with A&M and Mississippi State and then looking awful vs Auburn. I think injuries screwed us too this year and some of those guys will be healthier in a month, but we are the last program to get that benefit of the doubt.

I do not believe this is true.

Ohio State would have the edge in quality wins, Bama would have a massive edge comparing losses.

In my opinion, it will be hard to keep out Alabama if their only slip up is a road game at #6 and were winning in the 2nd half.

Ohio State was noncompetitive twice this year, once at home and once on the road to a team barely over .500

Ohio State is totally out of the playoffs, in my opinion. You can't overcome getting blown out twice.

Penn St thought they were getting in last yr, conference champs and beat Ohio St head to head. However they got waxed 49-10 by Michigan...So keep that in mind. Also Fresno being ranked is telling

I've seen crazier things happen. If it weren't for Arkansas's 4 & 25 against OM a few years back. I doubt we make the playoffs and we wouldn't have been SECCG champs.
