2021 was a major rebuild also. New QB, New RB, A lot of new guys on the OL and on the entire D.

That is why this year is so disappointing to me as we had some "studs" on paper coming back.

We replaced most of those guys with little to no issue, it was always the coaching that was the problem. Until BoB and Pete are gone, I’m not actively rooting against us but I certainly won’t care as much if we lose. Whatever it takes to get those clowns out of town.

Yes, next year will be the 1st major rebuild of the Saban era.

this may not be the case, there are only a hand full of players on the 2022 squad that are done with eligibility, good ones for sure but not many. It's not been a great year overall so the number of players jumping early to the NFL will probably be down. Steen is the only one they lose on the OL. The biggest loss on defense is Anderson, ToTo and Moody will be gone but together those have been less than stellar.

Basically if they can get better coaching and solve the issue at receiver everything is there. Assuming they can find a QB who can manage the offense. They don't need a heisman to win a Natty.

Maybe he's saying they are so worried with details that they're not playing fast and aggressive?

We both know he's saying that the expectations that this team would win or at least compete for championships impacted its mindset.

To which I would ask is that not the expectation every year? I'm not sure if he's indicting the fans or the team?

I don't think that's necessarily what he's talking about at all. He hasn't made any references to players (or fans) acting entitled this year, and he hasn't been shy about saying so in the past (references to rat poison, for instance). What he has repeated several times this year is that players are letting what happened on the previous play affect the next play.

How many epic rants have you missed the last three weeks?

He about had a coronary talking about entitled fans with unrealistic expectations on his radio show.

His daughter just warned the fans to appreciate him or he’s gone via her insta account.

Safe to say he’s not feeling the love right now.

That's both a shot at the fans and a warning.

Didn't listen to last night's radio show. But that's not been typical of his tenor over the last month. Most of his interviews have focused on players being anxious, and letting that affect their play. I haven't taken that to indicate that fan pressure was causing it. More a lack of focus and mental toughness, worrying more about the end result than the process. I can see how he would chafe at fans, or anyone else, telling him how to run his program, though. A lot (probably most) of the pot stirrers are not fans, most of whom respect him, and will let him do what he thinks is necessary to correct our issues. He's earned that much.

You said this, " His daughter just warned the fans to appreciate him or he’s gone via her insta account.

She didn't say "or he's gone..." You made it sound like it was warning, but really, I think she was talking about life in general. I just lost my father few weeks ago, and I was saying same thing to everyone.....

The exact quote was "Appreciate what you have before it turns into what you had."

I'm very sorry you lost your father. That can be extremely traumatic, but I think it might be impacting your read of the situation and the context in which it was being provided.

Given the coaching blowback this season I and many others who have read it see it as a direct warning to lay off or he might ride off into the sunset after this season.

I think he's the greatest to ever coach and have complete faith he can make the adjustments to fix this. Seems that right now is just the disappointment of a season that should've been a playoff team failing to hit their ceiling due to the coaches who have let him down.

Lol Saban isn't riding off into any sunset after this season. His entire being is about being a part of a team and he wouldn't know what to do with himself if he wasn't.

His daughter is just emotional and had a resentment post. If she was being logical she should be more angry with Bill O'Brien and Pete Golding than any fan.
