I'm interested to see what happens when Kyree Jackson gets on campus. We would have two elite junior college corners with him and Ronald Williams. Plus Marcus Banks and Kool Aid.

The secondary is loaded. If Jobe and JAD it gone next year that competition is going to be bonkers. Sounds like Kool-Aid and Banks are already making noise. As the talent has increased in the secondary I have been wondering how the JuCos Bama careers will play out.

I don’t really expect much with Jucos. Other than a few the majority have been nothing more than depth. I don’t know if there just isn’t enough time fore them to pick up the system or they’re just not that good, but the majority just don’t pan out.

Williams was making noise last year before his arm injury. Kyree Jackson is a 6-3, 200 lb. corner. Guys like that don't come along every day. It will be very interesting to see what happens when Malachi Moore returns. He got injured in the Florida game covering Pitts.

I don’t have a dog in this little spat but gloating that you’ve “made it at the highest level” whilst simultaneously calling someone “broke and bitter” doesn’t strike me as the behavior of someone who’s “unbothered.”

Jus sayin

As good as Malachi was when he was healthy I think Branch and he are basically 1A and 1B at the star. I don't see any space for the JuCos there especially considering how big they are.

I think the JuCos are talented but it will be tough for them if JAD wins the job. Kool-Aid seems like he is getting on the field next year and if JAD leaves that is 1 spot for the JuCos, Banks and whomever else and if JAD stays well. I know, I know I am assuming a lot with Kool-Aid.

The guy took a shot at me so I retorted with a shot back.

That's quite normal behavior. If you stick to the topic I will as well.

I would love to find a way to get Branch and Moore on the field at the same time. Also makes me wonder if Terrion Arnold will get a chance to play this year. The secondary is so loaded it will be hard to get everyone playing time. Kool Aid will get on the field in some way this year. He's an elite athlete that can impact the game in multiple ways.

Fantastic exception to the rule.

The guy (for me the best QB in our history) was still protected, passing and handing the ball off to absolute elite talent.

By the time everyone who was playing on that title team gets drafted it's probably going to break a record of 1st , 2nd and 3rd round talent.

You've pretty much proclaimed that Bama cannot win a title next season unless JoJo hits the ground running at 1st-round NFL draft level of performance, and then acted shocked that your posts got a few downvotes. How many of Bama's practices have you watched this spring? And we still have summer workouts and fall camp to develop our offensive weaponry.

Stop being so sensitive.

I didn't claim that. I said we need one of the youngsters who is already on campus to step up or Jojo to come in and make a splash.

That is the reality; it's why Saban addressed it as an issue.

Look man, relax. I don't want you deleting this thread or the other one because of me

Reading through the last few pages and we're already getting into mid-season form.

We've gone from blaming Peter Golding for poor defensive play to worrying about our one legged receiver group for 2021.

One important note regarding this rule, the SEC overrules any NCAA decisions, so the conference will still have to decide whether it will allow a one-time transfer rule within the league following this news.

Transferring within a conference with immediate eligibility is bullshite...Totally....and can you just imagine the Ogre,Kiffin,Leach, and especially Humpback in Gainesville trying to Purge THE TIDE's young kids?...I can...Or Kirby?....Alabama doesnt need Henry T this year and the Conference doesnt need the rule. Now to another Conference is a different thing..Let them go and let them attempt to play.It will wane after awhile. The portal is a problem for hundreds of players. NOWHERE to go play.....
