The truth...
Team had good practice today (Sat). They will practice every day then fly to Dallas on Thursday and return Friday night. They are treating it like a regular season away game. Both teams will stay in same hotel with nobody else. ND is traveling on Wednesday.
So far no players have covid. One coach has it but not a coordinator. They will test daily.
First team offense looked great against scout team. The first team defense struggled against scout team but this is the first day to see offense. The ND offense is solid and balanced with a very good OL.
Coaches are taking this game very serious and think ND is really good. The team after 3 days off was rested and taking business approach. Saban is a master at not getting team overhyped early.

ND is taking business approach too. The fact 1st team struggled against scout defense isn't good at all.

Dude re-read the bolded section. The first team defense struggled against scout team. So, our defense struggled against a new look offense. It happens. First team offense looked great against the scout defense. Take your negative views and get out.

I know what I read. There was nothing negative about what I said. I repeated what was said. I didn't add any additional thoughts to it. All I said that it wasn't good that they struggled against Scout team.
You don't get to tell me to get out or what not. I have the right to say what concerns me and etc.

Nah bro. You said the offense struggled when clearly that’s not what the post said. The offense looked good. No struggle. Now the defense struggled which is what the post said. I simply said you need to reread the post because you misread it. Sorry about the get out but you made it sound like we are in trouble.

I was talking about the defense, not the offense. It was mistype...

Translation: Golding gonna Golding. First team D hasn't been prepared for what they saw on the field from our scout team O and struggled. Pete still trying to figure out how to watch film and gameplan for an opposing O. Back up the moving vans.

Phil, Pete has plenty of help when it comes to game planning. Its not all on him. His boss has plenty of input into the game plan. And it is disturbing that the Scout team offense was giving our defense trouble in practice. Who would even be the scout team QB? We dont have anyone that can run around like the ND qb unless its our second string QB. I doubt they have him on the Scout team. its pretty obvious what the defensive game plan shouid be. Just look at Clemson film in the second game. Stop the run and contain the QB worked very well for Clemson. If our linebackers can do that.

If it weren’t mostly on Golding, (game plans against ole miss and Florida sucked weiner) then Saban wouldn’t be bent down dog chewing his arse in the middle of a game. Adjustments and in game play calling is atrocious. What’s the point in having a DC if you have to call the game yourself? Essentially why Saban let’s him fail in some ways because you have to have evidence that proves his incompetence to make a move.
