The DL is getting better as well thus cutting down on the time the QB has to make best decisions

If #31 can start actually making the tackle when he's done everything else but tackle then we're headed for good days. That guy has the tools for sure. I would say #3 is the weakest link we have on defense at this point.

Good points. I could be wrong, but it seems like Wright is playing a bit better since we switched to more zone. Hopefully, he'll keep improving.

I love Wright, but He is always good for 1-2 bonehead moments. I gave him C- for his performance. The big plays where Auburn had a touchdown and other play where he gave up a big gain. He was not doing his assignments right. For every 3 wrongs he has, he usually do 5 right things.

Kid will hit but as you said he been caught looking in backfield and blowing assignments since day one.
On the AU TD drop surtain turned the wr lose to him but he was again looking in backfield.

I would have loved to see Jobe at Safety with 9 and R.Williams 22 at CB opposite of Surtain..Just like Diggs last yr I think Jobe will make a better safety in the pros..But Wright's play in the zone calls is much better than wright's play in man calls.

Saban’s weekly call-in radio show "Hey Coach" with host Eli Gold starts at about 7 p.m. CT.

Youtube live stream
quote:

Nick Saban said he had received IV plasma treatment last Wednesday. "Whatever was in this plasma deal, it knocked it out in one day. From Thursday on, I've felt great and 100 percent."

Saban on watching the Iron Bowl from home last week: "I cussed the TV a few times, I must admit."

Saban on what he has missed the most about working from home: "Being around the players. You still coach them, you're still on Zoom with them ... but you're not really around them."

Saban on Jahleel Billingsley: "Just in these last 2-3 weeks, he's come into his own, started doing things the right way, started practicing better. ... He's done really, really well, and I'm really pleased."

Saban said he will be cleared tomorrow to travel to Baton Rouge. "I'll be there. I'm good. I think my time is up. I'm ready to get back in the swing of things."

Today starts a crazy 48 hours. Pray I make it through it. Up at 4am to work on some contract work until 1p. Leave at 1 to take my daughter and some cheerleaders plus some coaches to Baton Rouge for a playoff game tonight. Leave and come back to WM, about 6.5-7 hours round trip. Sleep. Go to a funeral at 10am, then the ballet performance of my other daughter. Then head straight back to Baton Rouge for the Bama/LSU game. Get to see Slade after the game and head back home to be at church the next morning. The only thing that worries me a bit is it’s a CBS game, which means I likely don’t get in the car after the game until 11:30-midnight. I also have to miss a competition for my other daughter for the first time ever. But...I’ve waited 15 years + to see him play on that field. Mom can record it...

Something just seems too easy about Saturday. I think LSU is more game than we think. I expect a close one for about 2 1/2 Quarters and then we put them away.

I don't know about 2.5 quarters but I expect it will be relatively close in the first half. I read that Orgeron said they'd been preparing for this game for 3 weeks. Course, he said on Monday before the cancelled game that he was preparing for Alabama, then on Tuesday said they'd been preparing for Arkansas the next week. I'm just glad he isn't our coach.

Keep pushing the 13-0 greatest season of all time narrative on the Rant. It antagonizes the shite out of the LSU posters.

Bama needs Mack to be sharp in the passing game. The 1st QTR will tell the tale. If Bama can score 24 then we win (I think).

Might be tough if they play the slow tempo BS that teams like fAU and Kentucky trotted out.

If I’m LSU I sit on the ball and shorten the game. I take 70 out of reach and try to minimize the scoring.

I hate CBS. Why do they have to make this a night game?
