my point is that when these college kids get into games, whether it be FB or BB they have no respect for others. All they are going to do is spread it from kid to kid. I am not talking about virtual classes. Do you think these kids are not getting together for parties.

If you knew these kids were Bama football players than yes, I'd be very concerned. They can't do it. Coach Saban has said as much. Will they? Realistically, there are always a few who make themselves the exception to the rule, even in the best of times. It's their season and they have the most to lose. Coach Saban I'm sure is reminding leadership and the team of that every day. After that, what can you do? I just try to be realistic and keep in mind that 2020 is a helluva mess.

These kids not only have access to all sorts of alternative media, But they have motivation to find it. Therefore, they are aware of the stories reporting that The NY Times has tacitly noted that 90% of COVID positive tests were actually false positives. They know about the false reports of 100% positives at various places in Florida. They know that only 6% of deaths are attributable to COVID alone and that age and co-morbidities Are by far the greatest risks, and that they have like a .00001% chance of dying. They are aware that in reality most people are simply asymptomatic and aren’t spreaders. So, like every other young person ever, this doesn’t bother them, and they want to go out and live life just like we did at their age.

Gotta give them a break. There almost certainly will not be any COVID deaths at any schools that occur amongst otherwise healthy students.

If true Dalcourts the guy. We need Dickerson pancaking guys at guard.

Dalcourt is progressing well, but he's not quite ready yet.

Reggie Bush earlier picked Najee Harris. We should be covered either way.

Who’s our top prospects we are looking at to sign next year at QB and running back? I hear there is a top instate RB but his name escapes me.

It's been almost 30 years since a WR won the Heisman (Desmond Howard was that WR).

I don’t think Owens holds the starting center spot. I think Dickerson gets kicked over and they fill his vacant guard spot with someone else. Owens has struggled with physical DL so far.

Ive watched replays of last yrs game with ownes at center and he comes up to high out of his stance and easily loses leverage.
Its very evident even as early as in the duke game.In his defense it was his first major chance to start and
hopefully under our new conditioning team his base is improved.
I think with Emil Ekiyor it seems more like just like brown its a matter of weight.

Darrian Dalcourt and Quick.
There high school film was impressive and based on the film of practice so far,Cohen looks more explosive than some of the experience guys.
Its more about if he Cohen can get big enough to handle the guard spot full time day one.
Because he got starting OL spot written all over him.
I think Ownes, Ekiyor, brown play this yr is a matter of how well our new conditioning team reshape them.

Has there ever been a scrimmage as quiet as this one?

The article TS posted from BOL says:

quote:

Alabama continued fall workouts Saturday afternoon, holding a two-hour practice in full pads at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Though at the stadium, the practice was not a scrimmage.

So I guess they didn't actually scrimmage today.
