actually, if the punter throws the ball where and how it should have been, dre probably scores a td on that play. so i for one am perfectly fine with it and the 4th down play against the barn. cns doesn't do any of these things willy-nilly.

Win a few, lose a few. The onside kick vs Clemson was brilliant timing. The way we opened vs Texas, I have no idea why anyone would think it necessary. Baffling, but nowhere close to Kirby's mental meltdown on 4th and 11 in the SECCG.

We are all excited about Najee and Trey but do you guys think BRob has improved over last year and ready to spell those two? We know he is a good athlete so I hope he has a break out year off the bench.

Also, shouldn't we probably have the top tackles in conference with Leatherwood and Neal. I think our running game will make it easier on Mac to pass the ball to our outstanding group of WR's. Hoping to again be elite on offense. Jury is still out on defense and defensive staff.

Alabama will be without its five-star freshman quarterback as it holds its first scrimmage of fall camp Saturday. Bryce Young is expected to be absent from the scrimmage and has not practiced with the team in recent days, sources confirmed to BamaInsider.

Man I know we have always had monsters on our team but it just seems like they are a different type of jacked this year. Its probably just my eyes playing tricks on me though knowing we have a new strength staff. Watching the dline drills, seems like we have quite a few guys that can explode off the line this year

Very concerning news about Young. Injury or COVID?

I appreciate BRob, but I just view him as more of an in between the tackles grinder. I just don’t think he has either the wiggle or vision. I’m not sure what it is

Rumors that he either tested positive or is otherwise quarantining.

When someone asked Tony Tsoukalas on a scale of 1-10 what our panic level should be, he said "2?" So I'm sure everything is fine.

Tough break for Young. First spring practice gets cancelled then he misses the first fall scrimmage. He can’t win the job if he can’t play.

On the bright side, if it is Covid, him having immunity this season would be a blessing.

Saban's post-scrimmage press conference is about to start on the ESPN app.

Yeah things just havent been kind to Bryce in terms of all the opportunities that keep being taken from him. Hard to see him beating Mac out during camp

Malachi Moore's mom was supposedly tweeting info from the scrimmage, but Cecil retweeted one of them and she deleted them all

Also anyone know if fall camp will be extended in any fashion? Or will they have just weeks of practice as if they were just game weeks?

Gonna be hard to tell sense the starting defense was going against Paul Tyson

Same guy that posted that Bryce was missing from practice before any reports had emerged said our defense absolutely dominated today and it was a situational scrimmage, not a full game

Good to hear anything positive about the defense. I’ll take it.
